Increase number of attempts for low level courses
Hi,
Re: Get Connected and Introduction to Cybersecurity.
I would ideally like to be able to set 5 attempts if possible for my 13-14 year old's who are the majority of our students (300+). Some have special education needs and require the support and opportunity of additional attempts.

Certificate for Instructor Class
Instructor Class certificate must be different from student class.

Create own default activation, batch activation and increase max activation
- I should want to create own default activation.
- I should want to activate all module eaxms in the same time
- There were max activation time 30 days in Discovery 1, byt only 7 days in Discovery 2, others I haven't yet checked :-(
- Connection to system works very very slow, I tried in several places and connection speeds.

Download the certificates for all student in only one action
Instead of downloading the certificate for one student at each time, give the possibility to download them at once like it was AC.

To access the tutorial, please go to the NetSpace home page > Programs > Tutorials. It can be viewed under Certificates, Letters and Vouchers and click on New Certificates and Letters Bulk Download.

Cisco Academy certification
It would be interesting for Cisco Academies to be able to obtain a simple "certificate" acknowledging their Cisco Academy status. This "certificate" could be printed and displayed at their premises, and contain either a validity or an issue date.

Access to resources needs to be improved
One of the nice things about Academy Connectoin was the ease of access to resources. If we could have a button link directly to the classes resources including SBA on the Class home page it would be helpful. The drop down and drill process that we need to use currently is painful to say the least.

Certificates for the Roles (e.g. Instructor) in the Cisco Academy
It would be great to be able at any time for an user to request a certificate describing its different roles in the Academy (e.g. Instructor, NetAcad Contact) until that date, and respective periods of time during which they were accomplished.

This functionality has been delivered with the new assessment tool. Click on the link “Assessment Tool” in the left menu of your classroom. Then click on “Manage Activation” to see a list of all activated exams for the course.

Language button
Please bring back the "Language" button which was present in Exploration/Discovery to allow students to quickly switch the display language of the curriculum from French to English

Allow instructors to set up multiple activations for the same assessment at one time.
In NetAcad we were able to set up multiple activation for exams. I teach in a community college and need to set up various times for students to take exams as many of them have different work schedules.
I cannot be available at all hours of the day.

Bring back the Feedback for exams for students
The exam feedback from the old system was invaluable for the students to be able to see what areas they were having difficulty with. They could restudy those areas before retaking the test. If they see the answers, they don't learn anything except the answer.

The Feedback for Exams for Students is available. If you uncheck the Student View Correct Answer, the item feedback for the incorrect answers are shown. This will need to be done for each assessment or this can be made default in your Activation Profile. Please let me know if you have questions. Thank you! -
Add a search feature to Manage Users
When looking for a particular user, it would be nice to have a search feature. I noticed it is all alphabetical which is nice; however with several pages of users, it would be nice to do a quick search and find a user.

Curriculum viewable after course is concluded
Currently students in a class that has been ended do not have the ability to view curriculum. Please make it available, like in Academy Connection, where students have the ability to view the course materials outside of a current class. This would be a similar functionality as that of the Alumni role in Academy Connection.

instructors can request course completion certificates for their students
I didn't find course completion certificates in netspace. It would be great if course completion certificates request will be addedd in netspace.
93 votesGreat News! Course completion certificates and letters are now functional in NetSpace as well as vouchers. There is a brief video overview on the NetSpace Notes page (in the “About Us” menu) a new tutorial will be available by the end of the week (in the program menu), and you can learn more about vouchers and certificates at https://www.netacad.com/group/program/cisco-certifications-and-vouchers

Adding the Capability a locked Gradebook Excel Spreadsheet to Netspace
In Academy Connection, There was the functionality of a secure export of the Class Gradebook to a CSV file. It would be nice if this functionality is available in Cisco NetSpace as some Academies (Public Schools) rely on this for reporting of test scores of their Academies.

Track the Global IPD certificates fo Attendance in Certificates section
can the certificates of attendance for IPD sessions be tracked in the Instructor's User Profile -> certificates section ?

when somebody is trying to recover their user name or password, they should be able to type in their e-mail address as a way to identify themselves. If they forget their user name, there is no way to recover their password.

In order to recover a password, click on the Forgot Password link on the NetSpace login page. From there you can enter your screen name and a new password will be sent to your e-mail address.If an instructor or student has forgotten their screen name, click Forgot Screen Name and the screen name is recovered by using the e-mail address associated with the account. The screen name will then be e-mailed.
If a student needs their password reset, this can be done from the Course Details page by clicking the Edit button next to the course name on the NetSpace home page. There is a link to Reset Password and also the student’s screen name is given next to the student name.

Adding via search - a list not one at a time!
Just make the Netspace work like CNAMS when enrolling - search, select, search select, search select SUBMIT....NOT search select submit, search select submit, search select submit - this one at a time stuff is a pain
67 votesThis functionality is now in place. You can show up to 50 students on a page, select as many as you want and enroll them with one click. If you want to move to the next page to select more, the system will ask if you want to enroll those already selected before proceeding. If you click yes they will be enrolled as you move to the next page.

Text size, white space, web design
Instructors are looking for the possibility to make the font size bigger, better page design and layout.

Please click the “Try New Version” button in NetAcad to view changes to the Teach tab. We have made the ability to view courses larger and easier to read. Instructors can now try two different views with blocks or as a list. A search feature has also been added along with the ability to mark favorite courses and filter by open, closed, or favorite courses.

Instructors need to be able to reset a student's password.
Instructor need to be able to reset a student's password. High school students do not have access to their home email in school. If a student is not prepared to take a test, he or she will say they do not remember their password. Knowing the instructor cannot reset the password, students will use this weakness. In our school district teachers are not allowed to collect student passwords for security reasons.
