Create own default activation, batch activation and increase max activation
- I should want to create own default activation.
- I should want to activate all module eaxms in the same time
- There were max activation time 30 days in Discovery 1, byt only 7 days in Discovery 2, others I haven't yet checked :-(
- Connection to system works very very slow, I tried in several places and connection speeds.
I am happy to announce that the Group Activation feature has been delivered and is available for you to use! You will now able to Bulk Activate exams, Manage Activations and Create an Activation Profile. Please view the NEW Activation Tool tutorials for more information.
Thank you for your feedback and patience!

I think this is a very useful tool so thanks for suggesting it. I have used it a lot and it reduces the admin time in teaching CCNA. Thanks.

Dave, I saw the chapter test batch activation today, good job. It will make our lives much easier. Now, can you add the practice exams to the batch activation process also. At the end of the year, like now, when the students are studying for their exam or cert we generally activate all of the practice exams at the same time so the students can work at their own speed to study for the exams. This is the next forward step in the process.

Also add the ability to "turn on the answers" (so students can see their answers and the correct ones) but AFTER the exam due date has past and do this AUTOMATICALLY. In NetAcad, instructors could manually "View Student Feedback/Answers" through the gradebook. It would be great if this option could be turned on automatically once the due date has past.

I can second that request. I've never seen more painful activation process in any web application!
Module exams Batch activation is truly needed.
I'll be pleased with prolonging activation time to 90 days. What about easy "table-like" overview of activated exams with counters how many student have already passed them and how many don't? With date deadlines?
Thank you!

Here Here! NetSpace is just disappointing without these critically important features.

Anything happening here? I just upgraded on netspace and i am already regreating it. This is total time waste clicking around exams.

Any update about exams activations ? This is obviously a *major issue* considering the amount of feedbacks, it is difficult to understand how it can still be "under review" ?
Thanks

I'm waisting time! How can you say that batch activation and multiple activation is not a priority! I'm sitting 45 minutes in front of my laptop just to activate all assesements for a user that dind' took any exam and I can't finalise his status! I have to do some N clicks just to activate 10 exams!
WTF?

i migrated to NetSpace and hate my decision at the moment... i hoped, we find a NetAcad+ Version but it's a NetAcad---- Version.... not the same functionality as we use for years...
Hurry up and activate the batch activation for chapter exams; otherwise the current course is my last course -

Hello,
Besides, there is no batch activation and cannot create your own activation features. NetSpace activation will not allow you to plan ahead! Once I activated the end of chapter assessment for this week, and I try to schedule the same assessment for next week, the system will tell me there is no available students. It seems, I must wait till the current assessment expire, then I will have available students for next activation. This is annoying and extremely inefficient. Please keep the Academy Connection activation features and put them into NetSpace.

Hi,
I will not migrate to NetSpace without batch activation. I was planning to switch now and I just discovered this and I back tracked, I am going to let my students terminate their classes in AC.
Batch Activation of chapters tests is an absolute requirement.

Not having batch activations is a major drawback from the old AC... It was the first and possibly only thing that annoyed me massively after migrating from AC to Netspace.
Coming straight out and saying you aren't planning a batch activation isn't really helpful and it seems like you aren't really even trying to achieve something that the users finds useful?Could it be that there isn't an easy way to implement such a solution and you just are trying to avoid needing to put time into it? If so; from my perspective the lack of Batch activations is the MOST annoying thing about Netspace as it is now, much worse than the lack of speed or the seemingly redundant clicks needed to add students to new courses (due to the lack of student groups).

Dave,
Not sure of what alternatives you are looking at but whatever it is needs to be done fairly quickly as not only is it causing the likes of myself a massive new overhead in managing classes but all of those that we support that have migrated to NetSpace have mentioned it in our various communications.
To give an example, I had to activate an ITE v4.1 course for 8 weeks yesterday which when you take into account the amount of exams it took me 40 activation sets to activate the exams for the desired period, whereas in AC at the current time the same task would take me two activation sets. Even in the original version of AC it only took 8 activation sets.
As much as I like the new NetSpace interface, this has got to be one of the singularly most backward areas of functionality I have seen and detracts from all of the nice new features as the workload of instructors has now gone through the roof.

We need to activate several tests in one operation. This is URGENT.
It seems you do not understand this is VERY important. Please, STOP "exploring alternative solutions" . Give us something efficient ! -

@Dave, you might have heard why Cisco is so successful in the networking industry - because they are "eating their own food". Please do not just "continue to review the user experience" based on the end user feedback - but rather try on your own to teach a real course for some real students in NetSpace. This way you will learn way more about the pain we, instructors, but also students, feel with NetSpace.
The exam activation is still a mess if you are managing more classes, more students, etc. I just really do not see you point of not doing batch activation - could you please share the reasons behind that decision? There are some voices in the community saying that if we could schedule the assessments directly in the calendar, the story of activations would be solved - are you planing to go at least that way?
Thanks and good luck!
