Certificates for the Roles (e.g. Instructor) in the Cisco Academy
It would be great to be able at any time for an user to request a certificate describing its different roles in the Academy (e.g. Instructor, NetAcad Contact) until that date, and respective periods of time during which they were accomplished.
Thank you for the feedback. You can now see and print your transcript when logged into Netacad.com.

 commentedI think it would be a great idea too. We are required to upload our training and certificates for work. Having a certificate would carry more than just words

 commentedI'm agree with this idea. I think it will be very useful to instructors.

      Bernadette O'Brien commented Yes--we need to have a certificate of completion for Instructors. They can use this when applying for teaching positions.

 commentedI support the idea, though this is the time i have seen this page..been thinking of such for long! In addition too, Luis , if the number of those an instructor has trained while assigning the experience could also count as mileage in future as achievements..just a thought

 commentedHi Joy, Sorry for the late reply. Nonetheless, I already gave my feedback several times (the inicial idea already has almost 3 years). Several of the institutions (e.g. academic), where the Cisco Academy is available, conduct regular (annual) performance evaluations to its personnel. This way, it is very important for an employee to be able to prove the several activities where it is involved. Namely, the activities regarding the Cisco Academy such as NetAcad Contact, NetAcad Instructor, NetAcad Success Lead... In particular, I have been an Instructor and NetAcad Contact (before "Legal Main Contact") for a Cisco Academy since 2009, but I have no way to prove to my employers this work. This way, I suggest that at any time it should be possible for a user to request and download certificates describing its different roles in the Academy until that date, with the indication of the respective periods of time during which they were accomplish. For example, an user should be able to download the certificates:
 Certificate 1: CCNA Instructor between 2009-2016;
 Certificate 2: CCNA Security Instructor in 2011 and between 20014-2016;
 Certificate 3: CCNP Instructor in 2015;
 Certificate 4: NetAcad Contact between 2009-2016;
 Certificate 5: NetAcad Staff in the years 2009 and 2010-2015;
 ...Best regards Luis Veloso

 commentedIt will be really a great option for all Netacad Instructor. As presently there is nothing to show our identity except the NetAcad portal. So it will be better idea to provide some ID card type thing to show our roles in the Cisco Academy

 commentedI support Luis's idea and agree with Dino's previous suggestion to re-instate the CCAI certificate. The Instructor Recognition program is really an internal NetAcad program, whereas a CCAI certificate has external validity as well.

      Georgios Pelekanos commented Additionaly you could create that certificate for different instructor level (ccna, ccna sec, ccnp). Thanks.

 commentedHello Kimberly, The certificate(s) for the role(s) are a very important way to demonstrate the work developed in the Academy. Without it is very difficult to prove which has been done in this context, regarding the obtained experience and time invested in these different activities. For example, this is very important in the (annual) evaluations of current jobs, where the different activities (e.g. teaching, researching, management, ...) will contribute to the final assessment of the year. Moreover, it helps when applying to a new job to have certificates of the activities and experience obtained, namely in the Cisco Academy. WR,

      Dino Lovakovic commented Great idea! Something like the old CCAI certification. Idea here https://netspace.uservoice.com/forums/168832-instructor-feedback-forum/suggestions/4386063-ccai-certification-comeback
