Adding via search - a list not one at a time!
Just make the Netspace work like CNAMS when enrolling - search, select, search select, search select SUBMIT....NOT search select submit, search select submit, search select submit - this one at a time stuff is a pain

This functionality is now in place. You can show up to 50 students on a page, select as many as you want and enroll them with one click. If you want to move to the next page to select more, the system will ask if you want to enroll those already selected before proceeding. If you click yes they will be enrolled as you move to the next page.

You state that you can select from a list, which is fine, but how did you produce your list? What Larry and I NEED, is the way to search for nothing more than a SINGLE name, select that name as enroll eligible, and then enroll all students we have searched for (just like the old enrollment system did).
I am at an institution where I teach the semester three and four classes, and I have students that continually forget their Academy information, and their accounts are created by other instructors. I am also a part time instructor, and only teach when called upon, often at the eleventh hour. It is impractical for me to have to determine which instructor of record I need to reach out to obtain any type of information that might be able to be used in creating a multiple search (i.e. common email domain).
As the old adage says "If it isn't broke, don't fix it".

This is my first course using NetSpace. Not a big fan. As pointed out, the enrollment for existing systems is way too slow.

Hi!
I agree with all comments. The Netspace version of enroling is more complicated and time consumptive.
Greg's findings does not solve problem - it is inconvenient to parse long list, beside, frequently student give not university but personal mail addresses (like gmail).
Would be more convenient to include enroll function: "enroll previuos course(class)" and "download CSV" line under Course>Enrolled students Dropbox -

We did encounter the same problem here. It takes us a lot of effort to select individual students here in the new platform. Frankly, the new platform comes in with many "features" that may not help us a lot in deliverying the academy course effectively but the goodies and efficient tools from the old system are gone. That's the pity stuff.
I'm wondring if Cisco Academy can recover those searching tools from the old system for us.

Agreed. The old manage system had many advantages that have not been translated to the new system. THIS IS ONE OF THEM. It is ridiculous that the functionality of old student data base has disappeared.

I agree entirely. I have just wasted 1/2 hour re-enrolling 15 students from 1 module to another. Unacceptable!

In add/view enrollments I have found if you put in part of an email (like schools address) or name you can find a list of students.
