Tab for each user in netacad community
For each member in netacad community post their ideas but if we want to see their post, it is difficult. So if under each user there is a option to display the post and resources it will be better

Access to more information about students
Instructors are looking for the way to see more information about students:
- Search function with possibility to see classes on which student was enrolled;
- List of the students in the current academy;
- Student performance in dropped, completed and current courses.
43 votesTo see complete information about any students in your own courses, Start by clicking on the course name to enter the classroom environment. After you are in the course:
1) Select People link from the left menu
2) Select a student’s name in your roster; on the right, you will see a menu of information options:
• Analytics — allows you to see a summary of all classroom activity for a student, compared to other students in the class
• Grades — summary of all grades for this user
• Send Message — direct link to send a message to this student
• Interactions with You — summary of all interactions with this student
• Access Report — displays a report of Content, Times Viewed, Times Participated, and Last ViewedTo see student and course information outside of your own classes, the NetAcad Contact of your academy must give you…

Having several sections within the same class
On Netspace it is possible to define groups of students for grading assignments but it would be even better if the groups of students could be managed as a separate section of the same class.
The class can share content and material, but assignments and dates could be different for different groups.

Promote student profile to instructor's
We want request feature which allows promote certain users who already has student profile to convert them to Academy instructors, probably via some formal procedure, i.e. fast track. This will help to avoid duplication of the user accounts.
3 votesDmitriy, the NetAcad Contact of the Academy will have the ability to add the ‘Instructor’ role to the student role to convert their account. Duplicate accounts are created when a different email address is used then what is already listed on their account. The NetAcad Contact can verify the address with the Student when adding the Instructor role to their accound. – NetAcad Support

R&S Curriculum seems to be missing VTP topic
Maybe it is on purpose but we appear to have no VTP topic in CCNA 2 Routing & Switching Essentials. There is at least on quesiton on the final exam relating to VTP. It is a major topic in the old Exploration CCNA 3 curriculum.
4 votesPaul, there is a small reference to VTP in Chapter 3: VLANs 3.2.1.1 VLAN Ranges on Catalyst Switches. VTP is no longer part of the certification anymore, but is still introduced to students in the course. -NetAcad Support

Allow a price discount for instructors to have opportunity to buy a curriculum lab equipement
As known the Cisco academies have the opportunity to purchase a curriculum laboratory equipment and have an important discount. the rebate is issued to academies based on their Academy cisco ID.
My idea or request is to give cisco instructors a rebate for the purchase of curriculum laboratory equipment that can be equivalent to the discount offered to academies. This discount may be granted to Instructors based on their ID Netspace profile.
what de you think about this idea ?it will be great if we, instructors, can have that opportunity.

12 votesThanks for this suggestion. At this time we are not able to implement such a solution. We recommend that you work with your institution if you need additional equiqment.

SEARCH FOR PEOPLE PROFILE
It will be a good tool to add the ability to search people ( student, instructor, legal contact, administrators) profile, from all academies, on netspace.
10 votesThanks for your suggestion. You can search for instructors and other contacts in the NetSpace community. Dut due to privacy restrictions not all individuals may appear in search results, and students are not included in search results.

Add 'Go to Course Button' on links to Self-Enroll Courses
Many times we provide the links for students and instructors to enroll in a self-enroll course. Occasionally a student/instructor is already enrolled in the course. If they are already enrolled they receive a message and the only way to navigate to the course is to go to Home, Learn and click on the course. It would be nice if there was a button to take you to the course from the enrollment page.

Instructor telephone access to Academy Help Desk
Per the request of my Regional Academy Support Center, I am posting this concern here after receiving the following notification:
The Cisco Academy help desk is no longer available by phone:
a. Contact WASTC (Regional Support Center)
b. Use the online Chat, or e-mail
I then sent the following e-mail to my Regional Support Center:

Lorin, thanks for the feedback. I also responded to your concerns in email. The support operational hours was changed back in August 2014. I haven’t been informed of any impacted Friday or Saturday classes so far.
As for why the phone changes were implemented, we researched contact volumes for each contact method (phone, email, chat, web, and social media) and based the decision on the very low contact volumes via phone.
We are monitoring user experience and I do understand that urgent support incidents need to be addressed immediately. So if your ASC is not available, please try the live chat, email, web, and social media contact options for support. I think you will be pleased with the support provided by the other contact options.

Prevent students enrolment in to the instructors classes and vice versa
As we have different roles for Academy students and instructors, i want suggest feature which help me enroll only accounts with instructor level to ITC classes and student accounts to CA classes. We already met issue when user which has both student and instructor account was enrolled into incorrect class.
2 votesDmitriy, ‘Instructor’ only accounts cannot enroll into courses. As Kamel commented, ‘Students’ enroll into courses, whether at the ITC or CA levels. Students enroll into the ITC course to become an instructor and then they receive the Instructor role to be able to teach a course. When enrolling students you will see on that page whether the Academy is an ITC or CA to know if you are enrolling them into the correct academy. -NetAcad Support

Linux Issue with Calandar Link
The issue with the Calendar Link is the students can see exams within there calendar e.g. Google;s calendar. The assignment due dates do not show on student's calendars.
In the attachment I have a test on Thursday and Assignment on due on Friday. The Test displays in the student Calendar but the Assignment does not. See attachment.1 vote -

Inbox best performance request
Since the Inbox version was launched, I cannot send messages anymore. I am instructor of many courses, maybe because of this, it takes so much time to load messages (when it loads!). When I click new message and fill "To:" I have to wait about 5 minutes to appear the list of classes. Then finally when I write the message and click "Send", many often the message is not sent and no error message appears. It is a very important educational tool that now is useless for me, I have to use the Announcements instead, in each class.

Until Date and Drag and Drop
It appears that when and "Until Date" is set on an assignment, and then the drag and drop feature is used in Calendar to move the assignment to a new date, the "Until Date" is not adjusted to at least the "Due Date." This causes a loss of functionality in the Drag and Drop feature of the Calendar since I still have to go in and manually adjust the "Until Date." In addition, since the "Until Date" does not show up in the short-list of dates, it cannot be fixed without multiple clicks...

Hi Roger.
Calendar and the Assessment Activations are two separate tools and at this time, they are unable to update each other. We will continue to work closely with both systems and provide input that there is a desire to have one update the other.
