Training the trainee
That is, getting more Instructors trained to make CISCO outreached in the local areas of the countries.

Activate assessments immediately not after 24 hours
It doesn't make sense that an assessment takes 24 hours to become activated after an instructor requests activation

Thank you for the idea. Activations are created by the instructor of the class. Please contact them regarding this suggestion.

Cisco Certified Academy Instructor Certifcate
i want to suggest that a certificate bearing the Cisco Certified Academy Instructor be giving to candidates who have successfully completed their training as Cisco Academy Instructors with good standing. here attached is a sample of a certificate i googled from the net as sample. thank you
1 voteThank you for your suggestion on the Cisco Certified Academy Instructor (CCAI) certificate.
The CCAI program ended with Academy Connection and was replaced by the Recognition program for instructors (Instructor Excellence and Instructor Years of Service) and academies. In addition, instructors currently get a certificate after completing their own NetAcad instructor training (except for Instructor Fast Track classes).

1. Log in to your Cisco NetSpace account at www.netacad.com
2. From the ‘NetSpace Home’ page, click the course you want to view and download.
3. From the Course Home page, click on ‘Instructor Home’.
4. Click on ‘Course Downloadable’.
5. If this is the first time you are downloading the content you will first need to complete a short survery before the link is provided to download.“For academies that have a need to deliver the course from a local server, a downloadable option is provided for instructors. The downloadable file is to be downloaded by instructors only and used for instruction purposes. It should not be made available or distributed directly to students, it should only be used for instruction purposes.”

Reset activity on activity resets to guest
Using the "Reset Activity" button on the PT Activity screen (by the "Check Results" button), results in the activity having a Guest username. This happens even if Guest has been disabled in the Activity Wizard>Answer Network>Settings>"No Guest Profile". Students have been earning zero points on a few of my labs as a result of this bug.
Further, the Guest is improperly trimmed. A space after the Guest username results in an allowed Guest username, which is then trimmed (somewhere) and when CTRL-SHIFT U is pressed the Guest user will not be allowed.

Allow the NetAcad Contact to activate exams and view the grade books for classes in his academy
Allow the NetAcad Contact to activate exams and view the grade books for classes in his academy without having the right to note the student as Pass or fail in the gradebook.
The NetAcad Contact can be given the right to activate any exam for the classes and also he can view the grade book for any class. So he can follow up with the instructors if needed.
However he will not have the right to note a student as Pass or Fail in the grade book.
The feature was available in the academy connection platform.4 votesHello Jean, NetAcad Contact’s already have this ability in Cisco NetSpace:
1. Log in to Cisco NetSpace and click on your ‘Manage’ tab.
2. Click on the name of your academy listed in the ‘Manage Your Institutions’ section.
3. Scroll over ‘Courses & Groups’ in the upper left to find the ‘Manage Accounts’ section.
4. Click on the academy under ‘Manage Accounts’.
5. Here you will see a list of courses under the ‘Courses’ section, or your can use the ‘Find a Course’ to filter the courses.
6. Click on the course name to be able to view the course as the Instructor does and access their ‘Assignments’ page and ‘Grades’, etc.Thanks!

Reset the Packet tracer EVERY time the user is changed.
I like the fact that when the user is changed, the packet tracer resets. Unfortunately, since this does not happen with "guest," students can still cheat by completing the packet tracer as "Guest" and THEN changing the username. Thus, one kid finishes the assignment as Guest and then passes the "Guest" file around, everyone changes the user name to their name and since the activity does not clear, they can all turn in the same work.

Allow teachers to unlock student accounts after unsuccesful logins
Teachers should have the ability to unlock student accounts. A student should not have to wait 10-15 minutes to try to access their accounts. There should be a button on the class roster details (the place where we can reset password) that allows us to unlock the locked account.

Specifically for developers
Where are they, certificates and letters should appear in gradebook for eligible students. Please develop for the user not the technology. The mess that you guys have made over the years does not bear thinking about.

Instructors will be able to access their student’s letters and certificates from the Course Management page, refer to the FAQs and Tutorials page for video tutorials on how to request their certificates/letters.

Password Reset
Please allow users to reset their passwords from the NetSpace log-in page beyond one-year. There is no link to the Help Desk on the log-in page and if someone needs to have their password reset, such as an alumnus, they have no way to resolve the situation.

Cisco Aspire help students learn alot of things specially how run a IT support business at a small level kindly update it to a new version if possible.

Change color scheme for color blind students
I have a color blind student, Michael Carney, who suggested that using red and green for the links in PT is really causing issues for him. He was very frustrated today during his skills and said, "I really wish they would use different colors than red and green for the color blind students". I said, I can definitely make that suggestion for you.

CCNA Certification Practice Exam for preparing 200-120 exam
We need to have cumulative CCNA practice Exams which prepare students to take 200-120 exam, as happened for 640-802.
Indeed at the moment there is only a practice exam for ICND1 (located in routing and switching essentials curriculum) and one practice exam for ICND2 (located in Connecting Network)
How can students, who are going to take 200-120 exam, verify their preparation?(since it's not realistic to do different practice exams which cover differents topic)104 votes -

Better testing on the part of Cisco. i.e. Java 8 update and now when the student launches the PT in an assessment it crashes.
Do a better job of testing. Java 8 now causes an error when a student attempts to load the PT in an assessment. Going back to Java 7 is not a solution.
