Eliminate ability to SPAM netspace
Recently we all received an Email addressed to 5,000+ instructors for a simple request for help. This SPAMming ability must be removed from Netspace. The question was more appropriate for the ASC the instructor was associated with.

Exam question discussion (Errata)
Instructors should have the option to discuss exam questions from within “assessment viewer” – instead of submitting errata, for poorly worded or incorrect test questions.

Saved markup within courses
In order to better teach from the actual curriculum slides, it would be nice to be able to markup the text frame - highlight text, delete text, add text, change font attributes - and be able to save those for use during class or for a later class. I have attached an example.

one button to copy all the students from pevous calss to a new class
Usually when students graduate the CCNA1(2,3) they are promoted to CCNA2(3,4) class. It would be a great idea to have one buton which move/import all the students to the new created CCNA2 class.
7 votesThis is already a part of Cisco NetSpace. You will be able to follow these steps to enroll existing students from a current or previous course into a new course:
1. Log in to your Cisco NetSpace account at www.netacad.com
2. Click on the ‘Edit’ button next to the name of the course under your ‘Teach’ section.
3. In the student enrollment section click on the ‘Edit’ button and select ‘Add Existing’.
4. Here you will have different options to enroll students, to select from a previous/current course select the academy and course from the drop-down menus.
*If you want to enroll all student check the first check box which will check all students.
5.Scroll down to the bottom to click on ‘Enroll selected stdents’.-NetAcad Support

I would like to create my own quizes: Mother Board identification
I would like to be able to create my own quiz questions to add to current quizzes or make a new quiz all together. I don't think it can be done now.
Greg
1 voteHello Greg, you will have the ability to create your own quizzes.
From your course home page you will be able to go to ‘Quizzes’ and click on ‘+Quiz’ to create a new quiz. You can also create question banks to pull questions from for different quizzes. For more information you can refer to the video tutorials:

Delete email
Is there a way to delete all the email and not one by one
1 voteIn the ‘Inbox’ you will be able to use Ctrl+click the messages you want to highlight and then move to the trash. If you have many in a row you want to highlight you can click the first one and then hold down ’shift’+click the last message which will select all between those two and then you can move to the trash.

Direct Link to My institutions
Usability issue.
When I click "Manage" and then click in one of my institutions, an almost blank page appears (user panel). Then I have to navigate again in "groups and disciplines" menu (that list again all my institutions) to reach my initial goal. Don't you think that there are so many clicks?1 vote -
PT grading multiple "possible" network statements
Give PT the ability to grade multiple "possible" network statements for OSPF or EIGRP? For example, if R1 has a directly connected interface with 172.16.1.1/24. You can enter either:
R1(config)# router eigrp 1
network 172.16.1.0 0.0.0.255OR
network 172.16.1.1 0.0.0.0OR
network 172.16.0.0With the emphasis on OR here. (So students can't enter all three!)
Right now, if a student enters a classful network but the Answer Network is expecting classless, students won't be scored correctly, yet everything works properly.
My only solution so far has been to tell students what is expected (ie. classful or wildcard masks, etc)

Usability of "My Cases" at Support Desk Communication page limited
Greetings,
The list of my cases opened with Global Support Desk available at the Support Desk Communication webpage is extremely limited. It only lists a time-limited number of cases, and what's worse, it does not allow seeing their contents at all. The "Edit" link with cases that are still open only allows to submit new information but it does not show the entire transcript of the ticket. Closed tickets can not be viewed at all.
The Support Desk tickets should be handled in a way a common bug tracking system would handle them - allowing users to see their complete…

Announcements to a certain e-mail address
Would it be possible to add a field to course announcements where instructor could fill in some e-mail addresses? Through that it would be possible to post an announcement to different group address for example facebook group wall.
1 voteIn the Announcements section you do have the ability to use the ‘RSS Feed’ function by clicking on ‘Add External Feed’. This way you can post on another wall and have it post on the Announcements page as well.

Automatic academy role for ASC
It's that time of year again, where a host of academies belatedly contact the ASC to report a change, often in the academy main contact. Those academies that have neglected to, or refused to, create a role for ASC staff cost the ASC time and energy spent in trying to determine who, if anyone, can resolve the issue--and even more time spent by the Cisco Academy Support desk if they have to resolve things. If, when an academy aligns to an ASC, the ASC contact is automatically given a role such as Netacad Staff, all of this effort and time…

Make the syntax checker consistent
The syntax checker is a great idea. The syntax checker is no longer consistent. It will only accept one version of the interface ID, sometimes it requires:
s0/0/0
s 0/0/0
serial 0/0/0
serial0/0/0
There is no way for a student to predict which version syntax checker will accept.

Automaticaly deactivate when excluding and activate exams when including a student
Before exclude a student now we have to deactivate exams of this student one by one.
Also when enrolling a new student we have to activate the exams all over again.
Is there any way to do this activations and deactivations automaticaly?1 voteSince you activate the exams when you students are enrolled you will also need to activate it for students who join your class late, or deactivate if they leave early. This is best done through the Activation Tool if you are using the Create Activations or the Manage Activation page in ‘Assignments’.

Password reset tool for users in the Manage Users Menu
Since the Manage Users tab, add and deletes users, maybe it can also be possible to edit the user's information and have a tool to reset their password from there. If you are an admin, it is quite difficult to look for a user in a class just to reset his password, or edit his account.
1 voteFor security purposes administrators will not be able to edit a user’s information. In regards to resetting a passwords, users will have easy access to the pre-login page (www.netacad.com) to reset their password.

I takes too mulch clicks to communication with students
It takes too much "clicks" to communicate with students.
Suggestions:
1) Create a link to Inbox at Netspace home page. Now you have to enter in some class to have the link.
2) Inbox link inside a class should be link directly to Inbox class. No you have to browse all classes.1 voteOnce you are on the course home page you will have the ‘Inbox’ link in the upper left. This inbox feature can be used to communicate to all students by class. Click on the ‘contact’ icon to select a class(es).

Extend HIN end-of-life
I am currently working on some updated labs for the HIN curriculum. I see it as very relevant and most useful as an area suitable for more advanced student projects and for 'contextualising' their knowledges.
Little uses more Cisco gear in practical systems. However it has an 'end-of-life' next year. Can this be improved and extended somehow?
