I don't see any way to close the video. There is no X to close it. I am forced to close the tab and log back in to view the next video.

Exam submission
In my course ITEC N490 05S7NTEN01 - Sep 2012, I had two students taking the course feedback but were not able to submit it and I was not able to force submission. Please make it possible for the teacher to force submission should there is a technical issue that stops the students from submitting an assessment themselves. Currently, all it says that the assessment (course feedback) is incomplete and unavailable in grade book.
Thank you.

Place a "Save" button on the Crocodoc that allows the instructor to save the comments to the students uploaded file.
Place a "Save" button on the Crocodoc that allows the instructor to save the comments to the students uploaded file. This would allow students to see the teachers comments. This would save the instructor time from downloading the comments and then reloading the file for the students to see the comments.

Add course settings window within the course
Please put the settings together and inside the course. The logical place to make changes is in the Settings section of the the course once it has been created.

Gradebook format
The new gradebook and its cells are too wide.
I suggest that columns header text should be horizontal to save space like in AC.16 votes -

Hi James,
Under the student view, there is now a way to attach a file to the Discussion thread. Under Settings, click on Edit course details, choose More Options and select “Let Students attach files to Discussion Posts.”
I apologize for the confusion on this.

Option to Individually selecting students for Assignment
When I want to activate an Assignment it activates all the students by default. I want it to give me an option where I can select several students instead of selecting all or one at a time.
1 voteDeep, When you activate an exam you have two options “default” and “advanced.” If you select default all student will be activated. If you select “advanced” and then click on the link “Students” in the gray bar you can select or de-select as many students as you want for the activation.
Hope that helps!

ITC Courses
I didn't find a list of ITC courses in the Netspace Academy Locator . It would be great if the courses for instructors could be listed like netacad does.
1 voteHi Gustavo,
Yes, the list of ITC courses will be available as ITCs upgrade. Thank you! -
NetSpace Support for longer courses
Hello,
as a vocational training center, we currently offer (as a kind of "basic network education") IT technician apprenticeships that have CCNA Exploration 1 as part of their curriculum. According to austrian law and regulations, the duration of these apprenticeships is three and a half years. In order to fully integrate these courses to Cisco NetSpace learning environment, it would be necessary to create a CCNA 1 course with a duration of 3.5 years. At the moment, NetSpace has an upper limit of 366 days for a single course. Is this limit mandatory by Cisco Network Academy standards or is…
4 votesHi Lorenz,
As you know, a course cannot be extended past 365 days. However, you can create a new course and copy your current course to the new course. Thank you for your feedback. -

Import QTI quiz files to a Academy question bank
Hello everybody, I have found and used the possibility to import QTI files to courses, e.g. for creating a course quiz.
However, I´d prefer to be able to upload my questions to a "Academy question bank", so my colleagues in our Cisco Academy would be able to create assignments using these questions in the courses they create.8 votes -
Course Material
In Academy Connection using the Course Material link students were able to have access to the online curricula for semester in which they had not yet been enrolled. This was a benefit to me as an instructors because it allowed me to have students refer to ideas in future semesters and chapters to further explain ideas they only had a partial understanding of in current chapters or real life applications. For instance, we're in RP&C and someone has a question about DHCP. I could explain it, but then also refer them to that chapter in accessing the WAN. The student…

Allow the editing or addition of questions
It would be good to be able to change up or add some other questions to the tests. This would reduce cheating and memorization of questions.

Assignment type "Packet Tracer Activity"
It would be great if I could add Packet Tracer activity assignments to a course. Ideally, editing the activity would include a possibility to upload a *.pkt file. The assignment would then be activated online just like current SBA Practice exams and the resulting percentage automatically added to the gradebook.
7 votesHi Lorenz,
Users are allowed to create assignments within the Cisco NetSpace classroom environment. Categorizing the assignment as an online submission allows the student to be able to submit files with the extension of .pka or.pkt as their submitted work. I hope this helps!

Add an option in assignment activation to permit student to retry incomplete attempt without teacher intervention.
Sometime I want student to do assignment at home but when they start it and leave it unfinish (for some reason), I always have to re-enable it student by student. That will be great if student can have a option "I will continue this assignment later" after they start it.
8 votesHi Benjamin and others,
You can do this now by “unchecking” Instructor Must Re-enable Incomplete Assessments: either in your Activation Profile located in the Activation Tool or when you Create an Advanced Activation. If you leave it unchecked, then the student can take additional attempts. This option is allowed on the chapter and practice exams but not on the finals.
Thank you,

Email entire Class or Groups of users
I would like the email to have the option to send email to the entire class and have the option to define named groups.
I have select students doing network security club events so I would email those users. At other times would like to email all my classes important information.
1 voteHi Joe,
Good news! There is an option to email defined groups. We have a tutorial available to take you through creating the groups and adding students to each group. The tutorial is available on the NetSpace home page, click on Program at the top of the page and then NetSpace Tutorials. Student Groups is located under Communicating and Collaborating. I hope this helps!
