Clear organisation of courses
Hello, it would be great, if in Netspace Home courses could be sorted and organized by Primary and next role of instructor, and then by individual courses - Expl. 1, 2,...
If I have there many courses, it is very confused.

There is no role for primary and secondary instructor. Courses now separate the concluded courses to clean up the active course list. If you still want more organization change for the courses, please provide more details. Tell exactly which pages need to be changed.

Discontinue an Academy
Give the ASC the capability to discontinue one of its Academies in the case it does not renew the bilateral agreement (ASC-Academy).
In this moment in seems an Academy can continue with its normal operations even if the ASC deletes the relationship.1 vote -

When you go to enroll students, click on Add Existing and type in part or all of the student’s name. Click on the student you are looking for. I hope this helps. Thank you! -
Give the students an extension on the 640-802 exam
Bridge courses - how will a student who is currently enrolled in a CCNA 2 class learn the new material for CCNA 1 and 2 and 3 since the 3rd class will probably not be taught until 2014?

4 votesIn the past, we have been able to negotiate an extension of certification exams for NetAcad students. Unfortunately, due to American National Standards Institute (ANSI) requirements, Cisco must now set the same certification end-of-life date for everyone, including Cisco® Academies.
We recognize and understand the impact of the old CCNA certification exam EOL and the phased release of the new NetAcad CCNA R&S courses on the instructors and students. We will be collaborating with the ASC/ITC to address, communicate and execute the plan to support both instructors and students during this difficult transition in the next couple of months.

Should students be able to see instuctor tutorials?
I created a dummy student account and that account can go to programs and then netspace tutorials. Are the students suppose to be able to watch the video for example "Inside Cisco NetSpace: Assignments" and others

Custom Reports
I believe custom reporting would be a powerful feature for instructors.
For example, gradebook reports that display missing assignments for one (or multiple) students receiving low results on an assessment, could be provided to students via printout or email to identify their areas for improvement.
Additionally, a message or announcement that could be "multi-cast" to a subset of students based on a threshold of performance, or to share a common feedback notice.

I do not need so many tutorials, too much time lost. Make possible access with fewer steps for professional people.
Let instructors skip steps if they manage informations quickly. Too many steps, too many words, too many videos.

ASC services
It would be great if you can enhance privileges of the ASC officer to be able to do all operations fro the supported academies. This might be achieved if the Support center main contact is automatically enrolled to all of his academies with a sufficient role that enables him to accomplish and help doing daily operations.
This will help as as ASC to do the support services requested as many of the main contacts do not know well how to interact with the system . This will also saves a lot of time rather than waiting and contacting academy officers…

To break the stupid passwords limitations
I work in this branch more than 30 years, but only once I saw more stupid rules for passwords. Why the password cannot start by a digit? Why I can use just alphanumeric chars? Do you understand that such rules force people to choose passwords like Name1234? The company feeling itself on the top of IT area should have quite different approach to this case...

1. Log into Academy Connection.
2. Click Administrator Home or Instructor Home in the upper left menu.
3. Scroll to the bottom of the page and click Download Class History.Data for classes that are updated after the Class History Report is generated must be downloaded and saved individually, as they will not be included in the Class History Report.
Please have all of your classes completed by June 30, 2013. If you have additional questions, please let me know.

Announcement
Perhaps is a good idea to send by mail a new announcement or reply to it. I do some communicatios by announcement and I need to log into the course and check news in place of receiving notifications by mail. Thanks.

Make "Delete" button of Assignment Group inactive when are read-only Assignments (class defaults) inside group
The "Delete" button must be active only when inside group are instructor-defined assignments with delete rights.
When deleting for example the assignment group "Access Course Content" it also deletes the Assignment "Launch the CCNA Exploration... course" (even that the assignment is not removable/editable) from inside group and brokes the functionality of "Launch course" from the course home page which further returns "Page error". And there is no way to reset course settings to defaults or to restore only that assignment.A temporary workaround was to create a temporary class and copy that link to external tool in a new defined…

Cisco Netspace institution must work with the main objective to decentralize the system in several continents.
on a general level, I ask this new platform to be in direct contact with any person forming part of the institution to establish a comparison between the different partners in terms of their assumptions

Hello,
Good news! Many parts are in the new ITE and CCNA R&S curricula: text, media, labs, quizzes, classroom tools, etc. are accessilbe for iOS devices. At this time, Packet Tracer and PT in assessments and PT-based games are not. Also, older flash-based curricula are not available.

Send an email to all students each time a new discussion is created
Everytime a new discussion is created or a student receives an answer from an Instructor should be an option to allow us to send email notifications.
