I'm missing a HOME (Back to Netspace) Button after entering Canvas for editing course information
Canvas should open in a different window or tab or get this Home button
1 voteJoachim, the NetSpace home button in Canvas is located in the toolbar at the top right. Please contact the helpdesk if you are not seeing that toolbar or the button. Thanks!

assignement activation
It seems that a chapter exam cannot be activated when it is already active same if the activation period of the second activation attempt don't overlap the activation period of the first activation.
It is a little bit annoying. I used to activate all chapter exam for all the course duration in the first week of the courses, alloying students to explore the subject at their own pace. It's now impossible.

Hiding some of the predefined items from the syllabus
The syllabus has a predefined items and those items include all the possible exams in the course but there are some courses where you don't want to use those exams. I would like to have the option to customize the syllabus so it includes only the items that are going to be graded in the class.
3 votesAdriana, You might want to check out the “Modules” functionality in Canvas. You can set up modules of activities that students need to complete before moving to the next module. You don’t need to include all the exams in modules—just the ones you want. It provides another view that might be helpful for what you are trying to do. To access modules just click on the modules tab in the left column. Hope that helps!

Packet Tracer is Missing under Getting Ready
When clciking "getting Ready" or Resourcs, the area of Packet Tracer is empty. How should new students get the packet tracer anyhow?

Stefan, students and instructors can access Packet Tracer resource files and download the Packet Tracer application from Offerings-Packet Tracer-Resources. The Packet Tracer application is listed at the bottom of the 1st page of resources.

Add Academy Connection ID to user info under manage user
From the NetSpace Home Screen/Manage/Manage Users:
When I click on a user to manage that user (student or instructor), I do not see the academy connection i.d. I recommend adding the academy connection i.d. information to this screen.

Having a single course with two different Cisco courses
You must teach Exploration 1 as a previous course to Exploration 2 and Exploration 3, but you can group Exploration2 and Exploration3 in a single course and both can be taught concurrently. It would be great if you could create one single course in NetSpace to include both Exploration2 and Exploration3 curricula, activities, assessments and everything else instead of having two separated courses.

Moving to next assignment in Speed Grader was easier
Pressing the Enter after entering a grade would move to the next student's submission or at least move the "next" button closer to where the grade is entered.

I could enroll eligible students without having to manually enter them.
In the old system, I can see all existing students in the academy and enroll them in a course based on their eligibility (passed a previous required course for example).

Thanks Lisa, however Cisco NetSpace does not require pre requisites. Teachers now can determine if a student is eligible to take the course.

Getting Access to Add Students From the People Tab
When I first looked at the beta, for a short time I could add students from the People tab. That functionality appears to be gone. I would like to be able to manage all enrollment tasks for a particular class from the People tab. Thanks, I am very excited about the other functionality in NetSpace.

Sorry Lawrence, but user management must be completed in the NetSpace home page area. However we are looking at ways to improve student enrollment.

It should add filtering function between instructor and student account when we create an instructor class (similar to academic connection)
I created an instructor class, but I have to filter the participants since there is no facility to (automatically) filter the instructor and student account in netspace add user/instructor.
I faced difficulties to add instructor user account in the netspace..

Posting on Calendar with multiple classes
I have multiple classes in a high school. If I could post an event for multiple classes that would be great.

Files area cleaned up
It would be better if students wouldn't see all the extra stuff in the files area. Only a student resources folder is needed to be visible to them.
1 voteThanks Charles, we are trying to clean up that area now. Should be cleaned up shortly.

Posting assignments on the calendar was easier
It seems that users can either setup an assignment within the assignment tab or the calendar. It would be nice if one would setup an assignment withing the assignment link it would automatically send it to the calendar. it would also be nice if the calendar would allow for a comment in the calendar when the assignment is assigned and when it is due.
8 votesBruce,
When creating an assignment from the assignments page in Canvas, it is automatically added to the Calendar on the date you enter. If you don’t set a date on the assignment you can still see it on the calendar view by clicking on the “undated events” link on the right pane of the Calendar. You can then drag it on to the calendar.
If you are not seeing the assignments from your course on the calendar make sure the course calendar is checked “on” in the right pane. Moving an item around on the calendar automatically updates the dates on the assignment tab and vice versa.Items show on the calendar on their due date. Let me know if I misunderstood your suggestion.
Thanks!
