It seems that a chapter exam cannot be activated when it is already active same if the activation period of the second activation attempt don't overlap the activation period of the first activation.
It is a little bit annoying. I used to activate all chapter exam for all the course duration in the first week of the courses, alloying students to explore the subject at their own pace. It's now impossible.

The whole process of activating Chapter Tests is way too long and intricate - not helped by the very slow response time of the site. Under Academy Connection, I used to regularly use the batch activation for several Chapter Tests. It was also very useful to be able to see all activations on one page.

This more than a little bit annoying for me. Having to wait until the current activation finishes before activating the exam for another period is at times really very inconvenient.
