Hiding some of the predefined items from the syllabus
The syllabus has a predefined items and those items include all the possible exams in the course but there are some courses where you don't want to use those exams. I would like to have the option to customize the syllabus so it includes only the items that are going to be graded in the class.
Adriana, You might want to check out the “Modules” functionality in Canvas. You can set up modules of activities that students need to complete before moving to the next module. You don’t need to include all the exams in modules—just the ones you want. It provides another view that might be helpful for what you are trying to do. To access modules just click on the modules tab in the left column. Hope that helps!

Thanks a lot for taking the time to check my request.
I have been exploring the “Modules” functionality in Canvas and I have found it very useful to setup the course defining the associated activities and material for each module/section. I could customize a module including some pages, some external files, some quizzes and even several chapter exams.
I like the syllabus link because there is possible to have a glance of the schedule of the course but the current syllabus is having links to some activities that shouldn’t be in the student view, like “Instructor Use Only Assign Student Pass Status”
So, I really appreciate your advice ... but I still would like to be able to hide some specific items from the predefined syllabus.
Anyway, I am going to continue exploring NetSpace and the best way to setup my courses..
