  1. Add "Turn on Editing" button

    There needs to be a "Turn on Editing" button on the grade book page. If i need to manually enter a grade, I have to go back to the home page and turn on editing, then go to the grade book to add the grade.

  6. Create more Cisco CCST certifications

    Hi,

    I'd like to suggest that Cisco create additional CCST certifications based on some of your other course offerings. For example, for IT Essentials, you could create "CCST: Device Configuration and Troubleshooting". For Linux, you could create "CCST: Linux Fundamentals".

  7. Exporting a course in Skills for All with Custom Assignments

    I have found it important to create Custom Assignments and upload lab files in my Skills For All courses.
    Without a course export and restore button, this platform does not scale for instructor led courses.
    Can we please have this functionality asap as we depart the Moodle LMS of Netacad and arrive at Skills For All?

  8. Study Guides

    In the older Netacad, there was a share area where instructors could share study guides and other assignments that they had created. I feel like Netacad should really think about making official study guides for ITE and CCNA as the students are then forced to go through the curriculum and answer the questions which helps them retain the materials much better than just reading it and doing the activities.

  10. Remove references to the old (Canvas) LMS

    There are still some useless and misleading references to the old LMS (Canvas), for example in the FAQs. Please, remove them.

  11. Improve "Change language" hint screen

    After reviewing the UX of the hint screen when "Change language" is clicked from My Profile area I think it would tremendously help to add 2 things to it:
    1. This link to the FAQ: https://www.netacad.com/portal/faq-page/my-profile#t274n888
    2. Image like the attached one, which is already in the FAQ, but would be great also to have it on that screen, maybe instead of “in upper right corner”

  12. Allow Instructor to Check or Un-Check the Enable Additional Attempts Check Box

    Please change the check box so that it is NOT disabled so that instructors can CHOOSE whether or not to require instructor to enable additional attempts on assessments. Apparently in this release of the curriculum (Intro to Networks v7.x) this optional has changed for the Practice Final Exam. I do not know why.

  13. I need to be able to choose MULITPLE questions out of a question bank, not just ONE!

    Moodle has this capability, When I get to the question bank to add questions to a quiz, there is even a button that says 'Add all selected items", but there is no way to select multiple items!

  14. Make the Course Completion less Obscure

    I just completed my first course using the "New Experience". I noticed that there was nothing in the Grade Book to mark students as "Complete" or "Incomplete". A couple of weeks later, one of my students sent me an email with a screen shot saying she had not completed the course. When I began looking, I realized none of my students had "Completed" the course. After I completed a thorough search, I submitted a ticket to NetAcad Support. This is what I got back:

  15. Self-Enroll Course Options - All the same verbiage

    For our self paced courses, in the versions, there are both "Direct to Student" and "For Public Campaigns" can we condense these and choose one or the other for consistency?

    For example:
    Python - English 2.00 For Public Campaigns
    Linux Essentials - English 2.00 For Public Campaigns
    Networking Essentials - English 2.00 Direct to Student

    It seems like the "Direct to Student" language is more accurate in terms of what the instructor is setting up the course for, can we change the others to say the same? Makes it less confusing and more straightforward for the instructor and the overall…

  17. ending date

    Make the ending date for a course the last day students can access, not the day before. For instance my students can access thru May 3, and I put as ending date, but netacad moved from in-progress to not active when May 3 started at 12:01 am

  18. Course Announcement tool

    I just created a new "Switching, Routing, and Wireless Essentials v7.02" course but i could not see the "Announcement" tool. After talking to the Support Desk, i was told that the Announcement Tool is being phased out of courses!!
    I rely on this tool to send reminders to my students throughout the semester. the "delay" sending these announcement is a huge time saver for me.

    I wish that you continue providing these useful tool to instructors.

  20. Ability to clone customized course for multiple sections

    Ability to clone customized course that can be used across multiple sections.

    We teach multiple sections of the same course with different dates and different faculty. This requires us to have common customized template with common course content, assessment etc.
