Make the Course Completion less Obscure
I just completed my first course using the "New Experience". I noticed that there was nothing in the Grade Book to mark students as "Complete" or "Incomplete". A couple of weeks later, one of my students sent me an email with a screen shot saying she had not completed the course. When I began looking, I realized none of my students had "Completed" the course. After I completed a thorough search, I submitted a ticket to NetAcad Support. This is what I got back:
Please follow the steps below to complete the students:
From “I’m Teaching”, hover over the course and click “Launch Course”
Click the “Gear” icon at the top right of the page
Click “More”
Under “Reports”, click “Course completion”
Under the “Approval” column, check the box to graduate/complete the student(s)
Please note: After a small delay, the box under the “Course complete” column will auto check after the Approval column is checked.
You can also find the steps above in our FAQ program by going to www.netacad.com> Hover over “?” and click “NetAcad FAQ’s”> Under the section “Course Administration”, click “Gradebook”> “How can I complete students in my course?”.
This is a very important step and should not be buried in such an obscure place. What was wrong with having it in the Grade Book like it was in Canvas?

Thanks for the feedback. We have streamlined the process for completing students in a course. Instructors can get to the course completion report in 2 clicks (“Grades/Completion” in the left toolbar and “Course Completion” at the top of the gradebook) from any page in Netacad.com.
