Remove old Activation Profiles from a selection
We need a possibility to delete old Activation Profiles from a selection in "Copy Profile from Another Course".
Other good idea would be to have several Activation Profiles independant of course and to have ability to choose active profile. That way we could have several most used profiles and use those in conditions we need.

password protect chapter exams
Password Protect Chapter Exams
In our distance learning classes we require exams to be taken at our testing center on campus. It would be very helpful for these exams to be able to have a password assigned so that proctors at the testing center can make the exam available to the student. Without this type of check in place the student can take the exam anywhere they want, which is not what we desire.

Link to messages on main page
There used to be a link to NetAcad's inbox when clicking my profile name. Now I need to load a course and then click inbox. Can a link be added to the "I'm learning"/"I'm teaching" page?

On PowerPoint Slides...
There is a lot to learn... making sure there are good transitions between slides is critical for best learning. I have noticed at as the new material gets posted... there is a discontinuity between slides which makes teaching difficult.

Grade book
In the site we create courses that contains up to 100 students at the end we have to down 3 or 4 grade books depending on how many courses we have. I work for a university therefore I deal with large number of students. It would be nice if there can be an option on the website to do to download the grade book that contains all students regardless of how many courses you have.

Again (after 4 months): Login process, why twice?
Hi Support, almost always, the first login, on a Win 10 Pro PC, fails. The timeglass runs in the top-left corner for two seconds, then stops and nothing happens. So you have to click Log In + Login a second time.
After that, the user and password are already there, but the "Sign in" button is gray, so you have to click it twice, the first time to turn it blue, and the second time to actually sign in. Not so user friendly...
Marco1 voteArchived · AdminSandra Ray (Customer Support Director, or Executive, Cisco Networking Academy) respondedWe have fixed the issue of needing to click on the Login button twice as long as the page as finished loading.
Users that are using Password Manager tools or saving their login information to their browsers may experience the sign in button being gray. They are working to improve this feature. We do not have any time estimates on when these improvements will be available.

LPIC-2 course in netacad any time soon?
Is there any plan about releasing an LPIC-2 level course in netacad?
At this point there are two LPIC-1 courses, namely NDG-I and NDG-II, and I wass wondering whether netacad has some plans to release LPIC-2 courses.1 voteArchived · AdminSandra Ray (Customer Support Director, or Executive, Cisco Networking Academy) respondedThank you for the suggestion. At this time we have no plans to add this course. We will keep this in mind for the future.

Add a "Date of Last Submission" Column
Add a "Date of Last Submission" column (or similar) would be fantastic when looking at the Course Details > Course Analytics page. Like us, I am guessing that more and more institutions will need to enforce federal guidelines where if a student does not upload an assignment in 14 days, they need to be withdrawn from a course. The Course Analytics page shows every student so one could easily scan the page to identify potential "violators."
1 voteArchived · AdminSandra Ray (Customer Support Director, or Executive, Cisco Networking Academy) respondedThank you again for the suggestion. Due to the low number of votes we will not be implementing this at this time. We will keep this in mind for future enhancements.

add CA or ITC to the courses taught in an ITC academy
Regarding ITC academies, it would be nice to have CA or ITC written in all courses in order for instructors to quickly distinguish which course is CA an which one is ITC.

E-signature with Instructor name
If you can add a feature of e-signature of the Instructor can be selected automatically with the instructor selection for a certificate. It will be a great facility for students as well as the administration.
If any of Instructor don't want to add a signature so they can distribute hard copy, it can be an option.1 voteThanks for the idea, however we will not be able to implement at this time.

CCNAv7 Cisco Module Group exams and Cisco Final Exam - Questions and Answers are already available in the Internet
CCNAv7 was out on 2019/12/10. Today is 2020/1/29. Cisco module group exams and Cisco final exams - most questions and answers are already out in the Internet. For example, CCNA1 - the 400+ Cisco final exam questions and answers are out there already. Very disappointing. Anyone can search the Internet and obtain most of the questions and answers. It is very disappointing when an instructor or an institution wants to use these exams for assessment purposes. Something should be done to protect these exams.

Fixing the time zone flaw
Student report from most of my students:
"Please attempt again to correct your timezone mechanism.
I was able to change it within Canvas but Cisco did not give me the option to change my settings. I am listed with an African time zone."Fix this flaw ASAP please as my students'assignments and exams show the incorrect timezone date making it impossible for them to do their work.
Long back story, but I will attempt to shorten it.
Your helpdesk told me that when my students were registering for accounts this term our academy timezone was incorrect, without my intervention or…
2 votesArchived · AdminSandra Ray (Customer Support Director, or Executive, Cisco Networking Academy) respondedThank you for all of the information. There was an issue with some student’s profiles not updating correctly in the New Experience. This has been fixed so they will see assignments based on the timezone in their profile.
Assessments (those with the green puzzle icon in New Experience) us the time from the individual’s computer instead of the profile timezone.
We will keep this idea in mind for future updates so all places in NetAcad use the same timezone.

Integrate logon with Clever (or others).
Allow users to login with Clever, Google, or Office 365. The are three popular authentication methods being used by schools to give student a SSO experience.

Have an option for an Open Window Due Date
Allow instructors to set a Due Date on an assignment with an available date and a close date. Example Lab is Due 01-04-20 it can be turned in through 01-06-20 with no late penalty and anything turned in after that will have a late penalty.
1 voteArchived · AdminSandra Ray (Customer Support Director, or Executive, Cisco Networking Academy) respondedThank you for the information. We do not have this option available at this time. We will keep this in mind for future releases.

Allow Late penalties to be set on a group basis
I really like the new option to set a late penalty. What would make it better is to be able to customize it based on the assignment groups we set up as instructors. Example I could set a late penalty on assigned labs and opt not to assign a late penalty to Module exams.

Appreciate Instructors
Instructors really work so hard to teach even someone who has not undergone any prior learning and ends up understanding, they should be recognized and appreciated
1 voteArchived · AdminSandra Ray (Customer Support Director, or Executive, Cisco Networking Academy) respondedThank you for posting to Share idea. We agree instructors do work hard. We have recognition program for instructors and academies. After logging in please go to Resources → Cisco Recognition Program to learn more.
