Simplify/clarify Pass/Fail function in gradebook
It is unclear to instructors how to Pass/Fail students. The check box should be replaced with a drop down menu instead.

importing student csv
NHTI student ID's start with an "@" symbol. When uploading, the uploading program looks at this as an email address and discounts the entry.
Upload program needs to ignore "@" that are in columns other than email.2 votes -
Error when adding new users
If a space is after the email address it acts like no email was added. Please put in brackets (no spaces)

Managing "Zombie" Assignment activations
Presently, if an assignment activation reaches its end date while there is an Incomplete attempt on file, the assignment will be automatically switched to "Instructor must re-enable". As soon as the Instructor re-enables it (manually), the exam becomes active for just 24 hours. In practice, this leads to a "ping-pong" between instructor re-enabling the assignment, student trying to complete his attempt 25 hours later, asking the instructor to re-enable again, and so on.

Instructor should have administrative control over the forums, specifically the ability to move a post.
An instructor should be able to move posts in the discussions. I have two students who have posted in incorrect areas, instead of having them delete and re-post, I would simply like to be able to move their post to the correct area.

Add an option to add people to a class as an observer.
Having an option to add an individual as an observer to a class. This would allow supervisors to log in and see what is going on in the class at anytime. This would cut down on paperwork for the teacher. Currently I am required to turn in weekly lesson plans. This would be eliminated with giving access to my supervisor.

Un-Conclude a course
When you unconclude a course , we have to re " add the students and instructors" again either to request certificates again or for any other operations" . It will be better to modify the system to keep students and instructors names even if the course is concluded so that these information might be recovered easily when needed.

When you conclude your course, you are still able to request certificates by clicking on the gear icon. This will take you to the course enrollment page and you will have the option to request individual or all certificates.

Overriding question points on quiz
When NetSpace grades a quiz with multiple answer question it does it incorreclty. The only 2 options are (Correct - Incorrect) or (All or Nothing). I prefer to give partial credit. So if a question has 3 correct answers and 6 total answers, and a student picks 2 of the 3 correct and 1 incorrect answer, NetSpace would give them 1 point (2-1=1) rather than 2 points for the correct responses.
I realize that this is an effort to prevent a student from selecting all answers and getting full credit but it is easy to see how many correct answers…

Hi Mike,
Good news! You can create a student account for yourself (set up as Test Student for example) or you can view your course as a student from the Student View. It is located under Settings on your course home page, then Student View (in blue on the right side of the page). I hope this helps! -
Inconsistency in managing users
There is IMHO inconsistency in user management rights. Instructor cannot add academy success lead (which is OK), but he can delete user with this role!

Role of Instructor
If you create a user in an academy with the role of instructor who is not yet qualified to be an instructor, Why Netspace accept it?
1 voteJulio, Great question. NetSpace checks for instructor accreditations when the instructor is added to a course. If the instructor does not have the appropriate accreditations the system will not let them be added to the course.
So new instructors can have an account in NetSpace but will not be able to teach until they have the proper accreditations.

View or Add Enrollment option
The "View or Add Enrollment" does not appear as options for instructors in the main menu. Is possible include ?
1 voteHi Julio, On the NetSpace home page, there is a gear icon next to each course you are teaching. Click on that gear icon and you will be able to view and add enrollments. I hope this helps!

Student ID ?
What is the purpose of using the Student ID?. The student ID is a control code of student in a class or has the same function as in Academy Connection?

The purpose of the Student ID is to create a unique identifier for the class and/or institution. It is not a requirement for you to enroll students in NetSpace. Thank you!
