1. how to download CCNA discovery cuuriculum?

   Any one can help me to download complete curriculum of CCNA discovery module 1. i have tried to find complete curriculum in course files but there are so many different kinds of files so its confusing to download which one.

   In my country here is much problem of electricity so its required to have downloaded curriculum which can work offline.

2. Add aditional user role at the institutions

   I think it might be useful for some people to add additional user role under the ASC/ITC/CA of "institution employee". There is currently e.g. ASC Staff role. However this role also do have permission (more like admin). Sometimes there is a need to have the person enrolled under the ASC (e.g. cooperating institution - NRP) which is in close relationship to the institution, but should not be able to manage the institution.

   Here is an example. We as an Academy Support Center do have couple of people which are responsible for solving issues for the academies. There are: 1 NetAcad contact, 2 ASC advisors and couple of other employees. As I do not want to grant to other employees permission to manage academies in the system, but I want to identify their relationship to our institution - It would be great, if there will be additional role - like, just Employee without any specific permissions.

   I see also a benefit of it in case of other systems which are using the single-sign-on where we need to identify just relationship to the institution and we do not want to grant permission to manage anything in NetSpace environment.

4. View Assesment Content

   Could you please add the ability to view the assesment content as we were able to do so in NetAcad. When preparing to teach I like to look through the assessments to see the types of questions my students will be answering. I like to work problems in class that are similar and it takes a lot more time now having to look at each question individually in the assesment viewer. I liked having the ability to see all the questions on one page - it made my prep time much faster and more efficient.

   Mark, you should be able to view the assessment content through the Assessment Viewer link for each exam. You can get there 1 of two ways:
   1. From Assignments (chapter and practice exams)
   a. Click on the exam link.
   b. Click Assessment Viewer.
   2. From the Activation Tool (chapter exams only)
   a. Click Assessment Viewer
   b. Select the exam you would like to view.

6. Modifying Blocks of Assignments

   It would save a tremendous amount of time if I could modify blocks of assignments at the same time. For example; if I could select multiple assignments and change the submission from none to "online submission".
   Editing Assignments one by one is extremely time consuming and for old people like me ... prone to errors. Occasionally I forget to set the submission section. So it would be very helpful from a time and accuracy stand point to be able to modify the common properties of multiple assignments.

    Hello,
    If you’d like to permanently delete your course, you can do so under settings from your course home page. Permanently Delete this Course is in the blue section on the right. Please be aware that once your course is deleted, you cannot get it back. Thank you!

12. Add a feature to download a list of students via csv file

    It would be nice to be able to download a list of students in csv format with a temporary password so that students can enrol without email address.
    Also useful for many other things.

    Hi Jackie,
    Can you use Seat Tokens to enroll your students? This will allow students to self enroll without an e-mail address (in Student section, use gear icon and Add Seats). The Enroll Students tutorial is also available. This can be located from the NetSpace home page, click on Program and NetSpace Tutorials. Thank you!

15. Allow the user to see all of the pop-ups

    How does one stretch / size windows? Several 'bubbles' were cut off although there is room on the screen because I can not size the window properlu.

18. Give us back Academy Connection

    After a few days of setting up a class and figuring out a migration method that works for my students, setting up Assessments....sorry Assignments and seeing how the exams look. I am over Academy NetSpace.
    Sorry but really the Academy Connection is easier by a country mile to use and we can do things like custom batch exam activations. We can see 15 questions per page in chapter exams. Students can check their own answers for self-assessment. Useful things! Sorry but I am yet to be convinced of a single benefit in the move to NetSpace. I am confused as to why we are being forced to change to a system that is buggy and very much a beta platform. It seems to be in the league of MS Vista. Perhaps if I have a 2 year holiday and come back things will be better.
    It reminds me of the CCNA version 3 release which saw a lot of schools drop out of the Cisco Academy. I fear that this system will jeopardise the Cisco Academy membership.

    Paul, Thank you for the feedback and sorry that you are not pleased with the NetSpace platform. Our intent is to provide a great teaching environment with flexibility and capacity for the future. The prior solution had reached it’s limitations.

    We know we’re not there yet. The specific items you’ve mentioned are some of our highest priorities and you will see ongoing improvements throughout the next several months.

19. Problem with tutorials

    The tutorials do not always work on my computer and when they do are very slow so I cannot complete the required training before I can access my students accounts and start teaching with this website. Is there an alternative way to access the site that is less hungry on resources. Very frustrating as I need to start using the site. The old academy was very fast.

20. Authentication issues with 3rd party cookies

    Until early December 2012, having cookies enabled was sufficient to authenticate on to NetSpace (cisco.netacad.com). From January 2013, it is not possible, and 3rd party cookies need to be enabled as well. From a security point this is not really a good idea. What has changed?

    For security and reporting purposes, assessments and content in NetSpace are delivered from a separate delivery system. The delivery system uses cookies for required session information. We use the Learning Tool Interoperability (LTI) standard for communicating between the systems. The LTI tool access pattern exists as a relationship between two separate domains, that of the consumer and that of the producer. The content and assessment delivery system, as the producer, exists on a different domain than learning management system where consumers access the content. Because the delivery system is being invoked from a different domain than consumer LMS, standard browser security models require the enabling of third party cookies to pass the correct cookies to the delivery system.

    This has always been the case, however, browser security models may have changed, cache and preferences may have been cleared, and depending on the browser, one might have been able to ‘always trust this domain’ for cookies. There were no updates made to the system in January related to cookie management that would have changed this requirement. It is possible to have browser configured to never allow 3rd party cookies unless explicitly white-listed.
