Common Links
With Netspace, there are "carpal tunnel" number of clicks to access common pages. I would like to suggest a module on the home page for commonly accessed pages.
Nice idea, eh? I know. Brilliant. I am sure it is on the way... before carpal tunnel sets in.

Test activation
Under the old site students could select up to 15 questions per screen. That is how I like to view a test and most of my students. How do I set that in the new site.
1 voteHi Brian,
Unfortunately, this option is not available in NetSpace. Thank you! -
Should students be able to see instuctor tutorials?
I created a dummy student account and that account can go to programs and then netspace tutorials. Are the students suppose to be able to watch the video for example "Inside Cisco NetSpace: Assignments" and others
1 voteHi Brian,
Thank you for making us aware of this! They should not be able to view the Inside Cisco NetSpace recordings. We are looking into this and will make the change. Thanks again! -

Enroll existing users to a CA/ITC
The option of sharing users to an academy should be emphasized somehow. At the moment, you have to use the add new button from the manage tab. From the name of that button, I can understand that a new user would be created, but only if i use the same name and email of the existing user, he be imported into the academy.
I think that creating new users and sharing existing ones should be done using different methods. (for example a different button with 'share users' displayed name, or a share user option displayed in the pop-up window that…1 vote -
clean up the resource pages
don't place foreign language subfolders at the top of the page! they are much less important than the resources
make real web pages instead of a pile of pdf's

Have the option to conclude completed students from a class so that only new students are listed as active
Have the option to conclude completed students from a class so that only new students are listed as active within that class , it would cut down on the amount of new classes for each enrollment.

Custom Reports
I believe custom reporting would be a powerful feature for instructors.
For example, gradebook reports that display missing assignments for one (or multiple) students receiving low results on an assessment, could be provided to students via printout or email to identify their areas for improvement.
Additionally, a message or announcement that could be "multi-cast" to a subset of students based on a threshold of performance, or to share a common feedback notice.

Will there be an app for packet tracer for both CCNA and ITE.5 and if so, when will it be available? I am in process of setting up a new lab
There is a need for an app for Packet Tracer to be able to function on Apple IOS. The statement that CCNA 5.0 and ITE 5.0 curriculums function on Apple devices is not true, since Packet Tracer labs are imbedded in the those curriculums and Packet Tracer cannot be installed on Apple devices.
1 voteHi Paul,
Please visit the following URLs for more information:
https://www.netacad.com/group/program/equipment-information
The recommended Operating Systems for NetAcad curriculum and Packet Tracer are Microsoft Windows 7/XP/Vista and Linux kernel version 2.6. Many of our academies and instructors utilize Windows Emulator for Apple and other platforms to address their specific operating environment.
Based on feedback from the community, NetAcad will be looking to support additional Operating Systems, such as Apple Mac OS, Apple iOS and Android, but no timetable has been announced.
Thank you!

I do not need so many tutorials, too much time lost. Make possible access with fewer steps for professional people.
Let instructors skip steps if they manage informations quickly. Too many steps, too many words, too many videos.
1 voteHi Cristina,
The tutorials are not required, just there for support. Thank you for your feedback! -
past site
After reading through all 17 screens of suggestions I am astonished of how many instructors are asking for features that are already in the old site. Did anyone think to ask us what we wanted or needed?
Why could not all the features of the old site not be ported over. If they were good there they surely would be wanted or needed in the new site.1 voteBrian,
Great question. The answer is that our goal was not to recreate the old system. From a program perspective we needed increased flexibility and a better cost structure. Establishing a modular platform into which “off the shelf” products could be integrated delivers those benefits. The result is very different from the old system and we know changes is difficult. For that reason, we continue to work to improve the user experience (look for improved assessment activation next week) and the help and support materials.Again, our apologies for your frustration.

browsers
Just got a response from help and they said share idea with curriculum on browsers. I think it is horrible that you have eliminated IE 8. Try and design your site as if you are trying to make money. I ev en got an error when I used Firefox 20.1 that I was using an unsupported browser. I was excited that you were moving from flash and then you go to canvas. I would fire all of you and get people who can design a site that can be using on many operating systems and many browsers. Think like a…
1 voteHey Brian, Again our apologies for your frustrations with IE 8. We believe our browser policy is consistent with most “for profit” sites, which we are not. As noted, we do all we can to ensure the platform supports the latest two versions of the most common browsers. We can’t control how fast the companies release new browsers and we have to apply our resources to support the newer versions. As you know IE 10 was released last October and we’ve extended our support of IE8 as far as we can.
Thanks!
