Bring back proper CCNP support.
My idea is simple.
Bring back full curriculum support for CCNP v7 including online curriculum, and presentation materials of the quality we were used to. I hate to see the jewel in the crown of the Academy program be so neglected. Maybe student numbers are low for CCNP, but this is excellence, the progression students should aspire to. Cisco should support this.

Thank you for your feedback.
We do provide same level of support for CCNP R&S 7 as for CCNP R&S v6. The development of CCNP R&S curriculum is a collaboration between Cisco Networking Academy and CiscoPress, it is to ensure we could offer up-to-date curriculum in a timely manner when certification exam changes. CiscoPress offers Foundation Learning Guide books and ebooks that could support teach the new CCNP R&S. There are also additional learning materials provided by Learning@Cisco that could support instructor teaching and student self-study in the Cisco Learning Network: https://learningnetwork.cisco.com/community/certifications/ccnp -
Wireless Controller Simulation in new version of PT
It seems to me that everything goes wirelless...
Have you planned the implemetation of a wireless controller device in the Packet Tracer?
18 votesClosed - Cold Storage ·AdminJoy Hall (joyhall) (Support Desk Team Lead, Cisco Networking Academy) responded
Thank you for your suggestion. Currently we have added a wireless home gateway and other improvements to PT 7.0. PT is designed to focus on basic networking technologies and concepts, it is not a replacement for real equipment. We will evaluate more wireless equipment for future releases.

Assesment
When assessment activated from bulk activation ( default activation) in the assignment area due dates are not getting updated
1 voteClosed - Cold Storage ·AdminSandra Ray (Customer Support Director, or Executive, Cisco Networking Academy) responded
Yes, that is correct. The due date for the assessment is not determined from when an assessment is activated. It is something the instructor has the ability to edit through the gear icon next to the chapter name.

Thanks for the feedback. Adoption of the course has been very small. Instructor communities may be able to provide suggestions for health related router/switch experience material.

materials for the new CCNA Security v3.0
I have learnt that there is a new version of CCNA Security course, namely 3.0, since the end of last year. But after watching netacad.com website, I have found there are still no materials for that course. And I have not even seen any materials for version 2.0,as the most updated version for the learning materials is 1.2
Therefore, I would like to ask you whether there are any plans in order to update the CCNA Security materials to version 3.0 any time soon.
1 voteThank you for your feedback. There is no CCNA Security version 3.0 at this time. The latest CCNA Security version is in 2.0. and was released in September 2015. Please visit the NetAcad > Offerings > CCNA Security resources page for more information.

Share Password for Some PT Source Files
If the password can be shared, it will allow instructors to use the activity wizard to edit and update packet tracer files rather than building things from scratch. for securing contents, passwords foe template files can be used so instructors use it to add up.
1 voteThank you for your feedback. We would recommend you visit the NetAcad Communities > Packet Tracer Forums > Packet Tracer Support page as there are some shared passwords already listed in the Packet Tracer Communities. In addition, this is a great area for instructors to share activities they created.

Ability to modify FIB answers
Students are counted wrong for answering 'convergence' instead of 'converged' in an exam in chapter 1; it's a safe assumption there will be more questions similar to this.
The only way to give a student credit for a question like this currently is to manually check their answer, find the total points for the exam, calculate their new percentage, and make that a manual grade in the gradebook.
If an instructor were given editing rights to FIB questions, we could make exceptions for questions like these and retain the automatically generated score (or even better, make the correct answer 'converg*',…
3 votesThank you for your feedback. Cisco has decided not to provide instructors with the ability to modify the assessment FIB questions. However, as an instructor, you can adjust the score in the gradebook at your discretion. Also, you can create a Support Desk ticket to have a particular exam question reviewed by the Assessment Team.

Instructor-led for Self-paced course issues
Some courses ;like "Get Connected", can be created by an instructor. however, the student can enroll him/her self in these courses. Is there a way to manage the self-paced courses if the academy plan to make it as instructor-led only?
Another issue is regarding the certificate, can an instructor add the name and location of the academy in the certificate?3 votesThank you for your suggestions.
The Cisco Policy Team has decided that self-paced courses will continue to be available to all students and will not be managed by academies/instructors. We recommend institutions find ways to advertise the benefits of instructor-led only courses to encourage students to take those classes.
Regarding your certificate question, Cisco has not planned at this time to change the certificate template.

IT Essentials Combining 801 and 802
When i teach IT Essentials I first teach CET 1 which equates to the 801 test, then the next semester I teach CET 2 which equates to the 802 Comptia A+ test. The curriculum is scattered throughout the course. Can you combine all of the 801 curriculum in one area and the 802 curriculum in a different area? this would make teaching the course much easier and two different certificates of completion can be printed for each course.

Hide Assignments
Please, give the instructor the capability to totally hide from student's view un-needed assignments. The Mute assignments option leave them viewable creating confusion.
It would be nice to have the same functionality we have for quizzes.
Besides, let the instructor to default student's view of the assignment page to Date or Type1 voteMaurizio, you will be able to hide assignments from students following these steps:
1. Log in to your Cisco NetSpace account at www.netacad.com
2. Click on the name of the class under your ‘Teach’ section.
3. From the course home page, click on ‘Assignments’.
4. To hide an assignment you will be able to click on the ‘publish/unpublish’ icon (green cloud with check mark = published; gray cloud with X = unpublished). Unpublishing assignments will hide them from student’s view.-NetAcad Support

Want to appeal to cisco not to discontinue CCNP Academy program because more and more Nigeria are now aware of it. Like am current running my CCPN Instructor program with UNIJOS Nigeria and once am done am ready to open up on market by teaching it. Challenging Labs Repository
How about creating a repository, in the cloud, full of challenging exercises in networking (CCNA R$S, CCNA Security, CCNP, etc.), using Packet Tracer or real equipment.
This repository can be divided in two parts:
- One part for sending real life, or not, challenging problems
- Other one for sending solutions (descripcion, labs, files etc.) or interesting propositions.
1 voteThank you for the feedback Ruben, Instructor have been using the Communities section of NetAcad to upload and share additional exercises they may have created.

Until Date and Drag and Drop was closed inappropriately
This was closed:
"It appears that when and "Until Date" is set on an assignment, and then the drag and drop feature is used in Calendar to move the assignment to a new date, the "Until Date" is not adjusted to at least the "Due Date." This causes a loss of functionality in the Drag and Drop feature of the Calendar since I still have to go in and manually adjust the "Until Date." In addition, since the "Until Date" does not show up in the short-list of dates, it cannot be fixed without multiple clicks... "
Without understanding what…
3 votesThank you for the updated feedback, Roger, however this is functioning as designed. The ‘Until’ and ‘Due’ dates are two separate features. The ‘Until’ field is used to “lock” the assignment whereas the ‘Due’ field is used for display purposes on the students end to show when the assignment is due and when it will be marked as late if submitted past that selected due date. The ‘Until’ field locks the assignments so that no submissions are available after that date, if only a ‘Due’ date with no ‘Until’ date is selected then students can still submit the assignment. Since these are two different features they do not talk to each other to update each other when one is changed by the drag and drop feature. If you have any further questions about this feature please contact the Help Desk. Thank you!

Blank background
When we launch the curriculum, we are given a choice of a background. I wish the extra space was used with the curriculum, but if for some reason it is necessary to use less of our screen, can we have a blank background?
