It would be nice to copy assignments and announcements individually to other classes
I can now copy individual quizzes from class to class but would be helpful to copy other items like assignments and announcements.
I teach 4 different classes and currently have to enter in the same assignment 4 times.8 votes -

Packet Tracer as a .msi rather than exe
Would it be possible to have a .msi version of Packet Tracer so I could deploy it over my network rather than an .exe that has to be installed locally.

Help button should show all 4 links all the time
The help button sometimes shows 3, sometimes 4 links - including the chat link. If you go back a page, then it may show 4. Help screens should be consistent, and complete.

Allow printing of instructor authored quizzes.
Often I have students with accommodations and they may have to take an exam that I have authored in a different location than my classroom on a different date. I would like the opportunity to print it out so that I can supply them the hardcopy. This way I do not have to rely on the Internet or proctoring issues when it is a closed book exam.
Now I can only copy it from the browser, paste into Word and then do extensive editing.

I asked about this and here is what I found out:
Printing Quizzes is something that Canvas did not design for. See https://help.instructure.com/entries/20339402-Ability-to-Print-a-Quiz-Easily.However, a quiz can be printed as a PDF. You can download any Print to PDF software you choose. The person I asked uses Primo PDF, but there are many other free ones.
1. Open Quiz.
2. Click Take Quiz.
3. Right Click on the Quiz (anywhere).
4. Click Print.
5. Select your PDF printer.
It is not ideal, but doable.I hope this helps!

Recruitment - Reg
Students undergoing Netacad courses raise the question why should we do these courses apart from subject knowledge, since no priority is given for the Inernship programe, campus placements and off campus placements. So it is suggested that Cisco should give first priority for Netacad students for the above programs.

Instructor signature
I would like to propose instructor embedded facsimile of my signature in the certificate on for personal signing option in certificate, because student left this college after they can download their certificate with my embedded facsimile of my signature in netacad login any where in the world.
20 votesThanks, Nizamudeen, for the feedback, however, we are unable to alter the system for this currently. We suggest that the student scans the signed certificate and save for future reference if they would like a digital copy with a signature.
Also as the instructor when you download the certificates, in Adobe, you have the ability to add a signature. You can add the signature, save, and then email to the student.

it is time consuming to download the resources only to find that they have been downloaded already, and the naming convention does not help, as the files have the same names in cisco 1 and 2, and no version numbers8 votes -
Highlight or change the background of chapter sections.
Add an option or feature to automatically highlight an entire subsection of the active curriculum displayed on screen. Example: While in a chapter of curriculum, say 5.2.3 I often close all the open or unused subsections like 5.2.2 and 5.2.1 or anything above them to keep from having all that mess on the screen. My thought is I have already taught the previous sections and don't need them open and even though I may refer back to a previous one later it would be nice to have the current subsection highlighted for an easy "return" reference.

Your new site is worst and painfull
Your new site is probably one of the worst I ever worked:
- not friendly user at all
- to many screens
- a lot of functionality lost or misplaced
- a pain in the *** for enrollment
- can't have the same functionality on french language
- much worst than the one before
We should be able to do:
- one time enrollment;
- batch exams scheduling
- easy way to modify exam chapter

Bring back the ICGs!
The ICGs (interactive course guides) supported teachers in delivering tricky concepts. They covered the main teaching points, teaching goals, useful VODs, advice on how best to deliver certain aspects. Since the new website they have disappeared and have not been transferred? \why not?? These were very useful resources. Currently the resource area is very poor; significantly less rich in terms of resources and less user friendly! Can we have access to ICGs please! Quickly?! Thank you

Create a Hexadecimal or Integrated Numbering Systems Game
Create a Hexadecimal game, similar to the Binary Game. Or an integrated game requiring/teaching literacy among Decimal, Binary and Hexadecimal numbering systems.

Please Add: separate assignments for activities in gradebook
As a high-school academy, I have pressure from my county for grades other than just the assessments. As such, it would be a substantial time saver for me if the assignments and activities were already broken out as grades in the gradebook (separated by chapter). Right now, I have to create these assignments manually, uploading the documents as we go. It is very frustrating and time-consuming.
