  1. Students and Instructor Phone numbrers should be viewed by academy contacts

    Academy contact, should be able to view the personal information of their users, both students and instructors, information on phone numbers and address to contact them.

    I'm searching for a student. When I search, nothing different is displayed. I assume this means no results were found. It would be helpful to say this!

  4. Please replace the NetSpace Home link.

    Although the link was often in a different spot on every screen, there used to be a way to navigate back to the Netspace home screen from any page you were in. Now it is gone and all links that should take me home, take me to a somewhat useless screen.

  5. Access to selfenrolled Courses

    As an improvement of the program, I would suggest that instructors can see the information regarding selfenrolled Courses. I would like to see, if my students are enrolled in Cybersecurity, and what score they earned at the pretest and final exam.

    Also in the list view of "Manage Users" I would like to see the courses in which the students are enrolled.

  6. transfert grades for ITN PT skill in RSE gradebook

    When a student take the ITN PT skill based assessment (for example), his grades is only in the ITN Gradebook. In the RSE grade boon there is a column for ITN PT, but without grade if student don't retake the exam (the same).
    Could you set the grade from ITN gradebook to RSE, SN, and CN?

  7. Put Labs as Packet Tracer Activities as well in the curriculum

    In the old curriculum the labs were also given as packet tracer activities. I used to have my students do them in packet tracer before going into the lab to save time. Since my classes are limited to 75mins. it is hard to do a lab if the students have not first read the lab directions and practiced the commands in packet tracer. If they do the practice first and answer the questions in the handout, then when they do the lab on real routers and switches it takes them less time and they can finish a lab within my…

  8. Customizing the calendar

    When I activate an exam for a particular student, the rest of the class gets confused and thinks that the exam is active for them. Is there any way to control the information that concerns just a small group of students from being displayed in the overall class calendar.

  9. PT SBA's - Weighted Score

    We should be able to have the option to use Weighted Scores instead of Binary Scores in the PT SBA's. Student's are successfully completing large portions of each section on the PT SBA's and get 0 for the entire section. We use the SBA's as a final practical exam and the student's are failing them miserably because of the Binary Scoring only option....not fair!

    Hello Tony,

    PTSAs are designed for practice and diagnostic feedback to the student. They are intended to prepare the student for the final Hands-On Skills Assessment. The scoring structure that is presented is partially scored. We structure the scoring to highlight areas where configurations may not be complete or meet the functional requirements that were specified in the assessment. For example, if a customer requests setup of their Internet for their home office and the service technician sets up the correct IP address but does not include or incorrectly configures the default gateway, then the interface will not come up and the requirement to setup service was not fulfilled.
    In earlier stages of learning, we are more flexible with scoring. In the example above, when the student is first learning IP addressing, we would score the interface address separately from the gateway to isolate problems and misconceptions. However, when the…

  12. read course materials in two different languages

  13. Simple Error Reporting Process

    Can we simplify the curriculum error reporting. Currently we need to collect information and give to the help desk via chat or email....Unless there is a better way I am unaware of. It takes too much time and does there is no encouragement for taking the time and making the effort.
    Can we have an error reporting template that we can fill in and click send. Possibly the ability to include screen captures will be helpful. I have found at least 3 packet tracer activities that are broken but at the time I found them I was very busy and…

  14. Chat enabled within a course

    It will be interesting to enable the chat between user within a course. Obviously the instructor can choose to enable or disable it
    This is an option possibile in moodle and given that the new platform is taken from moodle, it would not be difficult to do this, isn't it?

  17. Include account locator in Netspace

    I propose that the account locator be introduced in Netspace. This permits the students and the instructors to search peers globally.
