  1. Listing courses using folders.

    I would like to have my courses listed by using folders. I teach CCNA 1 to 5 classes. Could I have folder with CCNA 1 on my list and when I click on it, I have all 5 classes listed? I also have many classes for all 4 CCNA courses, so it would be quicker to have only 4 folders listed, and all classes within their respective folder.   2. Make Curriculum content more printable

    I'd like to be able to print whole chapters or excerpts from them.

    Supian, will you be able to expand more on this topic? Currently the resources are found going to the NetSpace Home page and clicking on ‘Offerings’ and then either ‘All Resources’ or clicking on the specific curriculum name. -NetAcad Support

  5. Academy

    I think cisco should find away to make the Academy certificate to equate that of the composite certificate, because we on the cisco Academy take longer time to study, get hand on lab skill and come back to become Instructor and even inspire to on to CCIE level. While brother on the other hand go to read dumps and write the composite exam sometime with any former training which make it look faster for them and it make us look we are wasting our time. Please this issued has been bordering me i think cisco should really look into it.

    Thanks for your feedback. We do not currently plan any changes to the certificate currently offered through Networking Academy. As always, industry certifications are available for those who want an additional qualificiation.

  6. Note wait time when designating an instructor

    FYI: It may take up to 48 hours for a name to populate the "qualified instructor" dropdown menu when you are designating an instructor for Linux Essentials.

  7. Electronic instructor signature, only when I choose to use it.

    I have a lot of certificates to sign at the end of a course, as I have a lot of students. I get tired of signing each certificate. I would like to upload an electronic copy of my signature and then apply it to the certificates just before printing, but not make it available for all certificates as I do not want students to be able to download a certificate with my signature.

    Judith, the Certificates are downloaded in PDF format. Once downloaded you will be able to open them in Adobe and add your signature through there.   8. CCNA R&S vs. Discovery

    As we know, in CCNA v4 curriculum, there are two course textbooks i.e. Discovery and Exploration with different teaching and organizing styles.
    But in CCNA R&S v5 curriculum, there is only one style course textbook.
    I think R&S course textbook style is more like Exploration, but not Discovery.
    In fact, we have led a normal university selected general education course in our university using Discovery (Sem1&2) for years, which is very popular for the freshmen and sophomores with low network background knowledges.

  10. Curriculum with offline installer (exe).

    Having an offline installable curriculum (exe) facilitates the installation process is completed on the machines (PCs) of the laboratory and prevents errors such as those currently going offline with the current curriculum, where some images are not displayed to unzip the folder.

    Please include Nexus NX-OS in the new and upcoming CCNP curricula.

    With the current CCNP courses you can NOT work in a modern datacenter with cisco equipment (:-(

    The CCNP R&S curriculum offered by Cisco Networking Academy are designed based on the CCNP Routing & Switching exam topics provided by Learning@Cisco, that does not include NX-OS.   13. Modify chapter order

    Hello!
    I dont know if is this the correct place, but I want to let you know my thoughs and experience with the Version 5 Curriculum. The current chapter order is a complete disaster. Students feels frustrated because Initial chapters cover topics that were not even learned as addressing, routing and protocols. The previous version (4) had a better organization and the experiences with that version were always positive. It would be great to use the new curriculum with the old order.

    The Linux Essentials course is owned and develkoped by NDG. At this time, we are not aware of any plans for translation. Please contact NDG directly if you have further questions.

  15. Certificates of Completion earned in the Academy Connection must available for print in NetSpace.

    There are many students who lost their old printed Certificates and there is no option to generate them.
    It will be great if Certificates of Completion earned in the Academy Connection are available for print in NetSpace.

    There are 2 options to get replacement certificates:
    1) the instructor can contact the support desk and request them
    2) Students can ask for support on the NetAcad facebook page which is monitored by the support desk.

  16. Track the number of hours each students is reading the online materials.

    I would like a way to see how long (or the number of pages ) a student spends on the online materials and the date it was accessed. I know when they access a chapter exam but I would like to see how long they spent using the online materials, on a student by student basis.

  17. Enrolling Students, use CAPS as default

    Lock the enrolling student name to CAPS as default so that student name will be in capital letter. it appears good in certificate when it is all CAPS not sentence case.

  18. Academy Connection CCAI or like certificate brought into Cisco Netspace from

    When interviewing potential instructors it is nice to know if an instructor was CCAI (Cisco Certified Academy Instructor) and for which course content. I just discovered that Netspace does not have the CCAI. May this concept of CCAI or like be brought into Netspace?

  19. Have netacad.com listed for Puffin Academy Browser

    Puffin Academy browser will allow students to read the courses on a tablet (iPad or Droid) since it supports flash and java. I think student would prefer to read a tablet than on a PC.. and it would be more convenient for them to read. My school district uses Mac's and the screen are small iPads would be more efficient for the students. Here is the link it is free for schools to use, but the eCourse must be registered for the browser to access it.

  20. OPtion to Change the Home page of Manage Academy

    When I click on the Academy name from the under the 'Manage Your Institutions' in the Manage Tab, I will get my Recent Activities. (see recent-activities image)

    After then I have to go to the 'Course & Groups' on the top menu and select the same Academy name under the 'Managed Accounts' to list the tools to manage the academy such as courses, Users, Statistics, Permissions, Outcomes etc on the left menu bar. ( See Managed Accounts 01 and 02 images)

    I think we can save time If you can provide 'change home page' facility like we have in each…
