Account Duplication
It appears that if a student is enrolled twice in two similar classes, the system cannot delineate in which class to activate an assessment when one is done by the instructor. Sometimes it crisscross to the other class.
Sometimes the activation in never done at all by the system. We encounter challenges in this area. IWe hope that this can be resolved.Thank you very much for listening.2 votesArchived ·

Thank you for the feedback. You are correct the system attempts for an exam carry over from one course to another. This means when a student is enrolled in the same course twice at the same time, the class the assessment is activated in first is where the grade will be displayed.
Currently there are no plans to update this in the next several months. It is something Cisco is aware of and they are looking to implement changes in the future.

I need a function to show all courses of a student.
Entering or selecting the user in userlist and then
show me the courses.

A new feature was added in the new “I’m Teaching” called “Student Lookup”. This will allow you to find a student you have taught and review all of the courses they have been enrolled in with you. Due to privacy policies we can only provide you with the courses they have taken with you.

I suggest that number of assessment chapters on ITE be reduced for students to be able to complete the assessments on time.
My idea is that the assessments on ITE-PC Hardware & Software should be reduced to: Pre-Test with the usual 40 questions, Chapter 1-14 Check exam, consisting of 50 questions, course feedback Practice Final and Final exam, with the usual 60 questions.
This idea would help to attract more students to enroll on the portal and instructors would be able to graduate as many students as possible within the academic year, especially in areas with poor network, which hinders the netacad activities in such academies.1 voteClosing. Networking Academy Course Certificates or Letters
When we use the "Get all certificates" or "Get all letters" feature, we then receive an email that inform us when certificates/letters are ready to dowload. Please, add in that email the name of the Academy under which the course has been opened. For those who have many Academies, the course name could not be enought to discriminate.

Need extra column when enrolling students
We need extra column when enrolling students so that we can add student ID number. Student ID number is a unique key to search students whereas a student can have multiple accounts with different email addresses.

include facility to use instructor sinature
Include facility to upload Instructor digital signature so that it will be printed on certificate while generating; this could help student to download certificate with certificate instead of empty line; in this case students student should get certificate in person; digital signature could help them to download remotely.

Thanks for the suggestion. We value your ideas for improvement. At this time we can not make these types of changes to the Certificates of Completion of the courses. We will consider ideas like these when we can make changes in the future.

name list with completed course view
Provide a facility to see the all students names list with teh academy courses completed status just similar to grade sheet format; with a tick and cross mark so that we can encourage student to complate by seeing it; it is very difficult to see form individual class and now a days student list also not appearing in concluded class so it is very difficult to see

Certificates for Global IPD Week need to be placed in each instructor's profile.
Many instructors attend Global IPD week to meet requirements for professional development. The certificates are emailed to each participant and have a tendency to end up in the junk mail and never found. Could these certificates be added to the instructor's profile in netacad.com instead of being sent by email?

Permit modifying the width of columns in Files lists
When listing files uploaded to a Class, the column width is fixed, and space reserved for filenames is often insufficient. Please allow modifying that width.

Less confusing publishing of assessments and full student view
As a first time instructor on the CCNA R&S course I am a little frustrated in what I see as confusing interfaces to do with assessments. I have wasted nearly two weeks in getting chapter tests up and available to my students. The reasons were:
1. I was not aware that the Assignments page is not editable. I could change the icon from grey to green which to me indicated that the item was published (not so!!). I suggest that there be some comment on the page telling you to go to the modules page to publish. You should not…2 votes -
Mass mailing option in NetAcad
Is it possible to add a mass email function to NetAcad? Right now we have to be constantly updating our email listings. Every time there is a new instructor or academy lead added or changed in the system, unless we are told, we usually find out when there is a problem with the agreements signed. This way we can announce changes and updates instantly to CAs

All course documents download within one zip
Add all course documents as .ppt, Labs, .pka files to one .zip file.

Markup Capability
It would be nice to be able to mark-up the right-hand text column within the curriculum - highlight items, add personal comments, and so forth. This would make it easier to teach from the curriculum. It would be necessary to be able to save such comments or mark-ups. This would probably require integration with a third-party tool that would save the individual teacher's mark-ups on their own computer - to be blended with the curriculum when presented. The comments and mark-ups would not become part of the curriculum but would overlay on top of it - avoiding any copyright issues.

TSHOOT - allow instructor to adjust DEFAULT quiz settings.
There is not activation profile for TSHOOT quizzes. It is a collossal waste of time to adjust ten individual exams to local preferences when a bulk feature or an activation profile would do the job quickly.

Exams date and time management in calendar
I always use calendar for planning exams times for students. It's very important and necessary as for planning processes and it's exported into RSS calendar. But all exams by default start at 0:00 and stop in 23:59.For change time I need click every exam, click edit, manually enter time and click "enter'. It's need very long time, for example, for 4 new cources.
1. Please add mini-icon for directry change date and time in every element in calendar view.

Get rid of previous attempts for all exams when enrolled in new course
When a student joins my class I have no idea if they've previously taken the course or not, how far they went, etc. We get to the exams and they can't take them because this site tracks their previous attempts. Can this just go away? I hate activating exams for most students, then having to go back and do special activations for the other students. I want them all to have 1 attempt, so if they already used one in a course (even YEARS ago!), I have to deactivate and activate one for 2 attempts for them. This is a…

Thank you for the suggestion. We understand the difficulties in having attempts carried over from course to course. At this time we are not able to implement this idea. We will keep this in mind in the future.

Allow to see entire students enrollment
Currently you can view list of enrolled students as block of 5, 10, 20, 30, 50. Please add something to view all student record in one page such as view all. When dealing with 300+ students, its really time consuming to go even with the maximum block size of 50.

Thank you for the idea. Please try the new “I’m Teaching” view. This was an area they worked to update with the new version. You can only see 15 students at a time; however, you do have the ability to search for students or export the whole list to a CSV file.

Some time the course is offered to student under the Instructor but it is not fully taught by him in such case provide a option to choose whose signature to be printed CEO or instructor
some courses are created so that students will be supervised and ask to complete as a mandatory assignment so we can have this facility
