  1. Note wait time when designating an instructor

    FYI: It may take up to 48 hours for a name to populate the "qualified instructor" dropdown menu when you are designating an instructor for Linux Essentials.

  2. Calendar suggestions

  3. Track the number of hours each students is reading the online materials.

    I would like a way to see how long (or the number of pages ) a student spends on the online materials and the date it was accessed. I know when they access a chapter exam but I would like to see how long they spent using the online materials, on a student by student basis.

  7. A quick way to send a message to ALL my CCNA classes, instead of sending the same message to each class.

    I often have a message like " please note, the classes next week are postponed". I have to send this to each class I have. I would like a feature to select all the classes in one go and send just one message to them all.

  8. Netspace Points and Recognition Icon on Homepage

    So instructors will be more motivated to participate in Community discussion, it will be a great idea to have his Recognition Icons and Netspace points viewable in his Homepage, maybe below his name, or an area where it can easily be seen by the instructor.

  10. ITE Alumni access to materials

    Hello All,
    Regarding ITE Alumni:
    It appears that after the ITE course is completed and the instructor closes the course students are unable to visit the course materials anymore through their login.
    I can recall that students doing the CCNA can still read materials after the course is closed. E.g. I have completed recently both CCNA 1 and 2. The course is closed but when I login I can still read the course chapters.
    I understand that students have to currently send a request to have it turned on so they can still access the information.

    Hi Kevin,

    Thanks for your feedback. NetSpace students should have access to the closed classes they took, this applies to CCNA and ITE. They will only lose access if the class is deleted by the instructor and only Academy Connection students need to request access but mainly because they need a NetSpace account created.

  11. Ability to EMAIL to all students, instructors, etc.

    I think it would be a good idea to have the same tool we had in the Academy Connection website to send email to all students and instructors. Not only to the students enrolled, but to ALL students, instructors, coordinators, etc. of our Academy.

    If the Academy is an ASC or an ITC, this ability should be extended to send email to the staff of the affiliated Academies.

    It would be better if the AC students can be included in the mailing list.

    We appreciate your feedback, however, at this time we will not be implementing this within the Cisco Academy being able to email students outside of a class they are enrolled in due to Cisco privacy policy. The ASC ability to to email supported Cisco Academies is in progress.

  12. search box in manage accreditation (ITC)

    When I want to accredit instructors (manage accreditation), I can't search directly. I must read all class members, even if I have 5 pages.
    Could you put a search bow like in gradebook?

    Hi Pascal,
    Are you referring to a Search in manage users?
    You can now filter out students, increase the number of viewable users and use your browser’s “find” to find a user!

  13. Graduate tracking

    We are looking for a tool to track our graduates progress in regards to employment, continuing education and certification status. We love Netacad's layout and would like to see if there is a way we could add this functionality to offer a portal through Netacad where our Graduates could update their accounts with this information.

  14. Academy Orientation Course located with other self enrolled courses

    At present the Self enrolled course is in a hard to find location. As it is a genuine self enrolled course how come it isn't located with the other programs

  15. ASA Firewalls working with IOS

    Currently, the ASA Firewall on Packet Tracer and CCNA Security are working with a specific OS, which makes many commands different from their coouterparts on IOS-run routers and switches.
    Therefore, It would be nice for ASA Firewalls to share the same IOS implemented on routers and switches, as the learning curve for those devices would be much easier.

  17. Edit course details (duration, students enrollement, etc )from the class

    Instructors should be able to edit course details (such enrollment, instructors list, etc. from the course page. Right now i should go to home and then use Edit gear to update these settings.

  19. Duplicating Assignments

    Currently every assignment has to be uniquely created. It would be very beneficial if one could create a basic assignment "template" to create assignments from.

  20. Certificate/Document showing instructor's qualification - Certificados o Constancias para los Instructores Cisco !!! ...

    Considero importante porque hay casos en que para efectos de trabajo se nos solicitan como Instructores Constancias que reflejen, expresen claramente nuestra Capacitación como Instructores Cisco, Constancias que avalen un Componente Docente digámoslo así que ya fue evaluado por Cisco durante el Curso de Capacitación como Instructores ... Considero se puede crear un formato de Carta que no sería para nada complejo, todo lo contrario podría ser muy simple y nos ayudaría mucho a nosotros como Instructores a cumplir formalismos a veces no necesarios, pero que nos son exigidos en muchas ocasiones ...
