The ability to unpublish assignments after they have been submitted.
I like creating my own exams to use during the course, but hosting them on netspace is a problem because I cannot unpublish them after a student has submitted work. This is a problem, because if I have a student that is absent, I cannot hide it from them, or prevent another student from taking a copy of their already submitted assignment.
1 voteReferred to Helpdesk · AdminSandra Ray (Customer Support Director, or Executive, Cisco Networking Academy) respondedThank you for the suggestion. While you cannot un-publish a quiz after it has been taken there are settings in the quiz itself for you to decide if you want the questions locked after a student has taken the quiz. If you have questions on these features, please contact your ASC or the Support Desk for more information.

Can we make assessments accessible to screenreaders like Google Read & Write?
We have really great material for supporting students with disabilities -- is there a technical barrier to making this possible? I have students with learning disabilities, dyslexia, etc. who are excellent computer engineers -- they understand the theory, they can perform on practical tasks and challenges ... they're just not proficient readers.
1 voteReferred to Helpdesk · AdminSandra Ray (Customer Support Director, or Executive, Cisco Networking Academy) respondedThank you for the suggestion. Individuals can use this tool for most of the assessments. There are exceptions such as Flash objects in the assessments and any Packet Tracer assessment or questions.
I have emailed you on your case also.

Make the UI work again, please
Netacad Homepage, Teach, Access the Courses you are teaching --> the new alphabetic order is unexpected and undeclared. Please get back to the "Most recent course first" order, or give us the possibility to choose!
Moreover, the home page of the courses, and of the relevant chapters, does not load the JPG image anymore. Could you please adjust this too?
Marco1 voteReferred to Helpdesk · AdminSandra Ray (Customer Support Director, or Executive, Cisco Networking Academy) respondedThank you for contacting us. Our development team stated this was a “bug” and has now been fixed. If you continue to see issues with the order please open a Support Desk ticket.

Remove courses
There should be a way to remove a course that was never public, or have no student.
Other solution could be to archive old courses.1 voteReferred to Helpdesk · AdminSandra Ray (Customer Support Director, or Executive, Cisco Networking Academy) respondedIndividuals can delete courses. While this is not encouraged we do understand there are times a course is accidently created and it needs to be deleted. This can be done by going to the course, click on settings, and then on the right side of the page is the option to delete.
You can also conclude courses but we do not recommend this feature as it removes students from your class. The new I’m Teaching view allows you to sort by open and closed courses.

Include some options into Assessment components marking.
Kindly find attached the screen shot of another LMS system. In that system, once you open multiple tries for the student(s) then it ask you to select which marks to be posted in the grade book:
Highest Score / Last Score / Average Score
This option gives you flexibility and lets you save the clerical efforts. Imagine, while using Netacad, I've 200 students and if I give 2 to 3 attempts to all of them for two or three PT Skills Assessment activities then I need to manually input the highest grade in the current Netacad system, provided the students…
1 voteReferred to Helpdesk · AdminSandra Ray (Customer Support Director, or Executive, Cisco Networking Academy) respondedThank you for the suggestion. There are features available from the assignment groups section or if you are creating your own quizzes that do allow similar options you listed. I followed up with you in your case you previously submitted with more details.

Uploading student CSV
It is almost exactly as painful to write all the student information out into the CSV as it is to just do it by hand. Firstly, why can I not download the information so that I could just copy paste it instead of having to reference it, secondly, if a unique key such as email address or institution ID is required then why would we need to fill out anything else, and thirdly I don't even have a institution ID field for anybody and if it is created then I have no idea what it is, nor do I want…
1 voteReferred to Helpdesk · AdminSandra Ray (Customer Support Director, or Executive, Cisco Networking Academy) respondedThank you for your comments. Individuals do have the option to download student information into a CSV file in the new user experience pages. In addition, the institution id is not required to be filled out.
Please contact the Support Desk for assistance on how to download the CSV files.

CCNA1 Chapter 3 test question
The following question causes confusion as it is not an accurate in the data that is encapsulated. The packet encapsulates the data segment with logical addressing. The logical address is not what is encapsulated, it encapsulates the segment.
At which layer of the OSI model would a logical address be encapsulated?
physical layer
data link layer
network layer
transport layer

Allow early access to material
We used to be able to select/deselect the option "Users can only participate in the course between these dates" in the course settings page. I typically allow students to enroll early and used to be able to give them access to the material ahead of time. This is no longer possible.
Please bring back this feature.
1 voteReferred to Helpdesk · AdminSandra Ray (Customer Support Director, or Executive, Cisco Networking Academy) respondedStudents have access to a course once you enroll them and publish the course. If your students are not seeing specific information please contact the Support Desk. We will need to investigate what is occurring with the course.

Online Materials of Introduction of IoE
I find the online materials of Introduction of IoE very informative with various formats. However, all materials except for the videos are printed in Chinese which slows down my speed of reading as I'm not used to reading computer jargons in Chinese.
Luckily, there is an English version for the post-assessment.
It is hoped that there is an English version for the course materials.
Thank you for your attention.

Bulk Deacttivation
I think it would be nice if the bulk deactivation would make it possible to deactivate all assessments for all students. I have tried this several times ever since Canvas was introduced as platform, at it has never worked for any of my groups. Tried it again a few minutes ago, with the same result.
1 voteReferred to Helpdesk · AdminSandra Ray (Customer Support Director, or Executive, Cisco Networking Academy) respondedThe bulk deactivation tool should be working. I have created a Support Desk case on your behalf to gather more information.

Poor Spanish translation
Current Spanish curricula is poorly translated. There are some technical words that even if are originally in English, are used in the same way in Spanish. One specific example of this issue is related with the word broadcast, but Spanish version 6.0 includes this word translated as "difusión" and it doesn't reflect the right meaning in networking.
Also there are some words that should be translated, for example "routing" should be translated as "enrutamiento" but hasn't be translated and it produces wrong translations like "routing estático" but it should be translated as "enrutamiento estático".1 voteReferred to Helpdesk · AdminSandra Ray (Customer Support Director, or Executive, Cisco Networking Academy) respondedThank you for the suggestion. Please open a ticket with the Support Desk and they will work with the Curriculum and Assessment team to fix the terminology when possible. They will need some specific information on where the terminology is that needs to be changed.
