View student's grades in Single View mode
In the previous version, you could see a single student and all their assignments and grades. This made it easy to review with the students and to be able to see at a glance what the score were and what was missing.
In the new version, the Single View only displays a list of the assignments. you have to individually access assignment to see the score.

Accessibility for blind students
I have a student who is totally blind. He can read the content in the lessons but can not use the code editor nor the output in the console.

final exam grade display error
The student with password M01013603 took the final exam and passed it, but nevertheless the evaluation is not displayed on the platform

I am unable to duplicate this issue. I recommend clearing cache and history, closing the browser, and trying again. You may also want to try in a different browser or a private window. If you still have difficulties, please contact the Support Desk with the course information.

Verify NETACAD QA on Edge, Firefox and Chrome
My students have discovered Chapter Exams in I.T. Essentials CPMT 1305.002 is failing with "You may have been idle on the current page for too long. Refresh the page to reset the session."
We tested various chapters with NETACAD Support but Martha advised it was an intermittent issue that should be resolved if Chrome were used. Not the case. A few of the students were using Firefox. One of the students could not use Chrome on his companies laptop. We also tried clearing cache/cookies, etc. but to no avail. These are the recommended browsers. While Cisco NetAcad will work on Edge most of the time, it is not a browser we recommend at this time.
If your students continue to see this issue, please work with the Support Desk. It is important we understand the steps the students are taking to access the exam and verify if the issue can be reproduced. We are happy to work with the Platform team on any possible bug items we find.

requires grading filter
In the assignment grading screen when I choose a filter (ie Requires Grading) it does not filter the assignment submissions to show only the students that still have assignments to be graded. In other words, when this filter is turned on, when the instructor clicks the "Save and Show next" button it should go on to the next student alphabetically that submitted the assignment and skip any students in between who did not submit the assignment. Please fix this feature.

Default Cache Config Error
When saving a graded assignment I occasionally get an error that says, "Default cache config could not be found. It should have already been created by now." When this happens the browser screen gets hung up and I have to refresh the screen to get out of it. A screen shot of the error is attached.

joint communication channel for non cisco courses on the netacad platform
I am currently experiencing a problem where i contacted Netacad for an issue with the CCSK software and they referred me to CCSK developers. I've contacted them and they say the issue is with Netacad. For any courses like this, it would be great to have a team of at least 2 people that jointly addresses issues like these.

Unlock Student Accounts
Instructors should have an easier method to unlock student accounts. I teach HS students who constantly forget their passwords, when their accounts are locked for 30 minutes and they need to log in and take an exam it cuts the time for the exam down way too much for them. It really can't be that hard to add an "unlock account" button for us.

Support Assistance
Chat is not the best tool for trying to show a support technician the result that needs resolution. At Collin College we use Canvas LMS and although it has issues, it seems it has less roadblacks, hiccups and snafus than NetAcad does. The Grades task and application does not seem to be designed with the instructor in mind. When there are questions like why did it do that or where did that come from or why is showing me that or why did it go there, it would facilitate the resolution if I could show the the person how it…

The Support staff does have the ability to do WebEx sessions with individuals when/if needed. If you find you are having a difficult time discussing an issue in the Chat conversation please feel free to ask the agent if it would be possible to have a WebEx with them. Sometimes they can not do one at that moment but we can work with you to schedule a meeting.
