Correction to ENSA curriculum
I believe there may be an out-of-date statement in the ENSA curriculum, section 2.2.12. It states "Note: At the time of this writing, Packet Tracer does not support the ip ospf network point-to-point command on Gigabit Ethernet interfaces. However, it is supported on Loopback interfaces."
I tried this in packet tracer 7.3.1 and 8.0.0 and it seems to work just fine on the gigabit interfaces, at least on the ISR4321

Error: Missing Curriculum Network Essentials
Commands for router interfaces are not developed in the Curriculum yet students are expected to do Packet Tracer 19.4.4 which requires a student to configure the router interfaces.
Please fix as soon as possible - this is an error.

Merge users
sometimes students have previous netacad id with other email. We need to merge those emails, or allow several emails in an account.
1 voteReferred to Helpdesk · AdminSandra Ray (Customer Support Director, or Executive, Cisco Networking Academy) respondedThank you for posting to Share Idea. We do not have the ability to merge accounts. Students and Instructors can change the email address for a student account. Instructors can do this from their Course Details page and Students can do this from their profile page.

Stop shuffling topics from version to version of CCNA
The curriculum is really good. Refine and improve what you have instead of totally re-inventing the curriculum.
Each time you do that some of the labs get messed up. Parts of topics get missed. Students are assessed on things that haven't been covered in the previous modules.
Prime example is The Introduction to Networks v7 Packet tracer lab 10.4.3 Basic Device Configuration. IT DOESN'T WORK!.
There are things in the lab the curriculum hasn't covered yet.
The Isomorph topology doesn't grade properly. The Instructions don't include any addressing help in the address table. It is a mess.
It isn't just…

CCNAv7.0x ITN Video 1.5.6
The CCNAv7.0x ITN Video 1.5.6 works differently when actually implemented using PTv8.0 creating confusing results for the student. The the desktop and laptop workstations are created outside of the rack rather than on a table which is not created as shown in the video. This is not an accurate demonstration. I've enclosed my results when I follow the video step-by-step.

Make copying courses easier
If you try to import a course using what is available, you actually end up doubling everything. Since you have to create a course first you can (should) only import the course content. What would be nice is that when I select Create a Course I also get the option to import a course without having to create it and then have to go through the selection process or deleting everything that was duplicated.

17.8.2 Skills Integration Errata 7.0
The DNS server is not listed in the documentation. I was able to copy/paste out and discover it was 64.100.0.2, but if that could be added to the addressing table as well as including DNS entry in the PC Configuration section, that would be great! It's necessary since students are asked to verify connectivity using domain names.
Thank you,
Michael Lutz

NetAcad Text Errors
I found many examples of grammatical errors and oversights in the text of the chapters. This includes typos, missing letters from words and misspellings as well. It does not appear that you had an Editing Phase in the development of the curriculum or least not a "final edit" task. I would encourage using individuals whose first or only language is English for this task. I will submit specific examples should I encounter them again. I wish I had kept a record of these during my first reading, but unfortunately, I do not have time to reread all of the text…

ENSA Page 6.6.2 Port Overload Error
I just noticed during class that the example provided on Page 6.6.2 of the ENSA curriculum has an error in the port overload command.
The content correctly identifies interface s0/1/1 as the outside interface for overloading, but the example uses interface s0/1/0 in the ip nat command for overloading.

ENSA 2.7.1 Packet Tracer Activity
This packet tracer activity specifies to
• Configure the OSPF routers so that the Gigabit Ethernet interface cost will be 10 and the Fast Ethernet cost will be 100.which is met using the router ospf command
auto-cost reference-bandwith 10000The reference configuration in the instructor lab manual incorrectly uses auto-cost reference bandwith 1000
which would report a cost of 1 for Gigabit interfaces and 10 for Fastethernet interfaces. There is an inconsistency between the specification and the model answer provided in the instructor lab manual.

Lab 10.4.4 IPv6 address configuration
ITN Lab 10.4.4 Build a Switch and Router Network includes configuring IPv6 addresses on router interfaces, but none of the preceding Packet Tracer or Lab activities for the module have included configuring IPv6 addresses.
Configuration of IPv6 addresses IS shown in section 10.2 and there is a syntax checker activity as a reminder, but none of the assignments leading up to the module review lab have reinforced the commands for doing this.
This does not seem like a reasonable pedagogic approach for students completely new to networking. IPv6 addressing and configuration is not fully addressed in the curriculum until module…

Errors in ENSA 3.7.6 CYU for TCP Reset Attack & UDP Flood Attack
ENSA Section 3.7 Check Your Understanding incorrectly describes a TCP Reset attack and also incorrectly describes a UDP Flood Attack. Attachments include - 3.7.3 description of TCP normal close, TCP reset, and TCP reset attack, 3.7.6 TCP reset attack incorrectly described as a normal TCP closing handshake, 3.7.5 description of UDP flood attack, and 3.7.6 incorrect description of UDP flood attack as sending ICMP echo requests, instead of UDP packets, to trigger ICMP echo replies

Reformat the CCNA7 Routing and Switching Course "Switching and Routing and Wireless Essentials"
The CCNAv7 Switching and Routing and Wireless Essentials website is not user friendly. It is totally different than the other two courses in the series. I am very much hoping that this course is reformatted.
The CCNAv7 Intro to Networking and the CCNAv7 Enterprise Networking, Security, and Automation have the same format as does the other Cisco courses. Please see below the difference is formats.

Modify ENSA 5.4.11 image
In ENSA on screen 5.4.11, it states "Host entries are not automatically listed prior to range entries." but the image doesn't have any range entries. The image on 5.4.10 should include range entries as well as 5.4.11 otherwise this statement isn't proven with the image.

ENSA PT 5.1.9 has an error
I tested this Packet Tracer Activity and discovered that the interfaces on R1 are connected backwards. The F0/0 and F0/1 interfaces are connected to the File Server and the Web Server instead of to the LANs. The E0/0/0 and E0/1/0 interfaces are connected to the LANs instead of to the FIle Server and Webserver. I have not figured out how the initial connections could have worked. See attached files for visual references.

Problems with PKAs in Cybersecurity Essentials.
Hello Cisco Staff,
This is a little urgent, it is related to two important labs in this course.
I have noticed an issue in two PKAs for Cybersecurity Essentials.
It affects Portuguese (Brasil) and English.PKA 6.2.4.4:
You are not able to finish activity as resilience of equipment is configured, points are not computed for secure boot-image and secure boot-config commands.PKA 8.3.1.3:
Same thing happens here. Resilience commands do not compute to complete the PT score, so it is basically locked up. There is also a password mistake (securesallys vs. securesally) written on text in Portuguese (Brazil) translation.
