Re-enable instructor rights on exams.
Instructors used to be able to see what my students missed on Finals. This needs to be re-enabled so instructors can verify questions and answers from the students submission. Some questions are not in curriculum while others may be incorrect as with the modules exams. They excuse of new "secure final" is false. The course was compromised before it was even published officially.

Can you please open a Support ticket with any information you on regarding an exam with questions not discussed in the curriculum. The Assessment team would like to review and correct.
We appreciate your suggestions regarding the ability to see what students missed on the finals. We are not able to implement any changes at this time. We will keep this in mind for future enhancements.

Being able to zoom in on page
When I press the Control Button on my keyboard and roll my mouse button to increase the size of the written part on the page, as needed when I present information to my students, the whole page increase in size with the result that you are unable to see much of the information you wanted to make more visible in the first instance. The presentation as per the CCNA course is a lot better. Th e ITE canvas is just rubbish!

Please ensure your browser is not blocking the curriculum link from loading in a new window. We do understand the curriculum needs to be in it’s own window to allow users to be able to zoom in easier. If you find this is still an issue, please open a support desk ticket.

False answer in the curriculum 4.1.1 quiz
The option as answer to the 3. question is false stating: "If there are no matching ACEs in the ACL, the packet is forwarded because there is an implicit permit ACE automatically applied to all ACLs."
It's supposed to be: "If there are no matching ACEs in the ACL, the packet is discarded because there is an implicit deny ACE automatically applied to all ACLs." as reflected in the feedback popup.

File System
Its would be helpful the opportunity to create files or tabs in the platform and inside of a tab or file we can add multiple courses because some time we many groups run at the same time with the same training.
So into the I´m teaching option, instead of having all courses in list or grid view add an extra view like file or group tab just to have more control
4 votesReferred to Helpdesk · AdminSandra Ray (Customer Support Director, or Executive, Cisco Networking Academy) respondedThank you for the idea. We have created a search field that can be used to show a group of classes together. For example if you have 5 classes that start with 123, you can search for 123 and all 5 courses will appear for you. In addition, we are working on archiving courses this feature will be added soon. A news article was posted on the 30th of June.
Please contact the Support Desk if you would like additional information on how best to sort courses.

Fix IT Essentials
There have been a lot of issues with the material this year with ITE 8.0. A couple of big ones: search function is hamstrung. When searching the material you only search the current chapter. This is a problem when reviewing a module. Another bigger issue is the exams. I have run across several questions that reference material that is no longer included, such as think & thin clients. The exam says it's covered in 3.4.2, in ITE 8 there is no 3.4.2, I had to create an ITE 7 so my students will have access to that material. Please clean…

Hyper-V is a Type 1 Hypervisor
Hyper-V is a Type 1 Hypervisor
I think that Microsoft’ Windows 10 Pro version 1903 Hyper-V client is a type 1 native hypervisor but the ITEv7 training says it’s a type 2 host hypervisor (see below items). I was going to try to ask Microsoft, but I thought you would have better contacts to ask / confirm this.
On Microsoft’ Hyper-V web page (last paragraph):
https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/virtualization/hyper-v-on-windows/about/It says this:
This is because with virtualization enabled, the host OS also runs on top of the Hyper-V virtualization layer, just as guest operating systems do. However, unlike guests, the host OS is…

Move ITEv7 PT 6.1.5.3 to Topic 14.4.2
In ITEv7 I suggest that Packet Tracer 6.1.5.3 - Control IoT Devices be moved to topic 14.4.2 basic scripting due to it’s too complex for chapter six and because of it question asking the student to review java script.

ITEv7 Training Materials Issues (Chapters 1-8)
I'm about halfway through my first teach using the new IT Essentials version seven material and have some feedback on items I have found.
Attached is a Word document with my comments for chapters1–8, some are just general comments, some are minor typos, and some are items I thought were errors. Most of the typos / errors carry over to the PowerPoint files.
Thanks for your help.

Stop shuffling topics from version to version of CCNA
The curriculum is really good. Refine and improve what you have instead of totally re-inventing the curriculum.
Each time you do that some of the labs get messed up. Parts of topics get missed. Students are assessed on things that haven't been covered in the previous modules.
Prime example is The Introduction to Networks v7 Packet tracer lab 10.4.3 Basic Device Configuration. IT DOESN'T WORK!.
There are things in the lab the curriculum hasn't covered yet.
The Isomorph topology doesn't grade properly. The Instructions don't include any addressing help in the address table. It is a mess.
It isn't just…

CCNAv7 CCNA1-Packet Tracer 10.4.3
Hi, CCNAv7 CCNA1-PT 10.4.3 project is really bad. Students tried hours to try to get it to 100%, but many of them can't get to 100%. It is really wasting of time and very frustrating.
For example, for the College router in attachment PT_10.4.3a, a student spent a lot of time to find out that the link local addresses should be FE80::2 and FE80::3. Why aren’t they FE80::1234:5678:9012:3456? There are only 2^64 addresses to try!!!
In attachment PT10.4.3b, the network addresses shown in the network are different from those shown the assessment page. Packet Tracer will not give credit for…

CCNAv7 CCNA1 PT 11.10.1
Hi, For CCNAv7 CCNA1 Packet Tracer 11.10.1 project, one version of the project did not grade correctly. Please see the attachment. When doing subnetting, we address the host requirements according to their quantities, the largest first, then the 2nd largest, ... and so on. But as shown in the attachment, a student needs to swap line 3 and line 4 in order to obtain 100% from the PT project.
Please fix it.3 votesReferred to Helpdesk · AdminSandra Ray (Customer Support Director, or Executive, Cisco Networking Academy) respondedThank you for the information. I have created a Support Desk ticket on your behalf regarding this issue. They will follow up with you by email.

Consolidate Feedback Forum Suggestions and Votes
Please aggregate the suggestions and their associated votes on this forum. There are a number of really good suggestions here however several are duplicates ( I am guilt of not reading as closely as I should).
It would be helpful to consolidate them so they can be better evaluated.
3 votesReferred to Helpdesk · AdminSandra Ray (Customer Support Director, or Executive, Cisco Networking Academy) respondedThank you for the suggestion. We try to merge ideas and have been working to keep information in this area up to date. As we have to involve several teams, there are times we are not able to update this information as often. In addition, once something is archived we do not normally go back and merge those topics with anything new.

CCNAv7 Modules Subject errata
Looking into CCNAv7 Modules Subjects, I would like to suggest the following on the Portuguese Translation:
Module 2:
In Portuguese translation the subject of module 2 is "Switch básico e configuração de dispositivo final". But I believe that the best translation would be: "Configuração Básica do Switch e Dispositivos Finais".Module 5:
In Portuguese translation the subject of module 5 is "Sistemas de némeros". But the best translation would be: "Sistemas de Numeração".

Backup Server for Netacad New Experience courses
7+ hour downtime for "New Experience" courses is not good. In the age of technology and failover, my goodness. This happened during Final Exam week for many of us and doesn't leave a good taste, especially since "offline course" shells have gone the way of the dodo with Netacad.com.

This was not a planned maintenance. We did try to post alerts to Cisco NetAcad and the Cisco NetAcad facebook page to help let people know.

Require Username for Profile
The new Packet Tracer files do not require students to enter a username at the beginning for the User Profile. Requiring students to enter a username is how instructors verify students are sharing Packet Tracer files to cheat. Please update the new Packet Tracer files to require a username. An example of one that does not require a username is ITN 2.9.1.

requires grading filter
In the assignment grading screen when I choose a filter (ie Requires Grading) it does not filter the assignment submissions to show only the students that still have assignments to be graded. In other words, when this filter is turned on, when the instructor clicks the "Save and Show next" button it should go on to the next student alphabetically that submitted the assignment and skip any students in between who did not submit the assignment. Please fix this feature.

View student's grades in Single View mode
In the previous version, you could see a single student and all their assignments and grades. This made it easy to review with the students and to be able to see at a glance what the score were and what was missing.
In the new version, the Single View only displays a list of the assignments. you have to individually access assignment to see the score.
2 votesReferred to Helpdesk · AdminSandra Ray (Customer Support Director, or Executive, Cisco Networking Academy) respondedThe ability to view student's grades in a Single View is still available. If you need assistance locating this information please contact the Support Desk.
