Ability to add and remove questions from exams

Packet tracer Autograder
Having a tool that scan a folder for PKA files and pull the user profile and completion percentage out would be a huge asset for instructors!

Quizzes in NETACAD
I would like to talk with anybody who has experience with NETACAD assignment creation and setup. I am finding myself have to manually create the quizzes for all 14 chapters in IT Essentials; Hardware and Software. I am behind the 8-ball having started my classes and expecting the quizzes to be already in place. They have already been in place in all past classes I have conducted and have not ever had to create the quizzes manually. Quite a shock. Thank you.

Thank you for posting to Share Idea. IT 8 has a lot of the end of chapter quizzes included in the curriculum. This is by design. We have allowed instructors to manually create the quizzes by giving them access to the Question Bank if they want this information recorded in a gradebook.

Use of WebEx and/or Zoom
Being on the outside, looking in, I see no reason why the Support Desk should not be allowed to start a WebEx or Zoom session on the fly without prior scheduling. Mary and I had to eat a bunch of time because of communication issues being limited to texting only. PICTURES ARE WORTH a THOUSAND WORDS!!!! And I don't think all support issues can be pre-planned not knowing the depth of of the scenarios. Please re-think this policy. Thank you.

Create a Bridge Course for IT Essentials & Intro to Networks for CCST Networking
I'd like to suggest that Cisco create a bridging course for teachers who teach IT Essentials & Intro to Networks. This course would have the additional material that is not covered in these 2 courses.

Marking incorrect questions and answers
I would like to be able to mark inaccurate questions and answers. With the marking of the questions and answers, I would like to have an ability to provide a correct reference as well as the ability to remove them from any test they appear on until they are corrected.

Send emails to certain academy groups
it would be usefull the option of being able to send a message to certain user groups.
For example: if I need to contact or broadcast a message to every instructors of the academy. Or a message only to students to spread certain information.1 voteThanks for your suggestion. In the current platform, instructor to student messaging is available within a class. Other messaging needs should be done outside of the platform now, bu we will consider for future implementation.

recurring non-periodic similar events
Assessments usually are recurring non-periodic similar events that share the name and also the notes and places. It is quite nice that we can introduce several dates at the same time when we are creating an event.

Calender icon too limited
When creating an event if we click on the calender icon we can just select a date within the current month. Does not make sense.

Thank you for the suggestion. You are correct you can not select dates from 2 different months in the calendar. If you change the calendar month first, you can select a date from a second month. We will keep this in mind for future releases to see if we can make improvements.

Let students colaborate on modul exams
One of my accemeies suggest making an option on module exams so it does NOT randomize questions.
This way students can do the module exam in small groups, to motivate them to discuss and describe their understanding to each other. They learn and remember a lot from these discussions.1 voteArchived ·AdminSandra Ray

Thank you for posting to Share Idea. Instructors have the ability to turn off the randomized question setting when they use Advanced Activation mode. You can also do this in the Instructor Activation Profile.

Reduce or hide the header and or the bottom background while reading the content.
(I'm seeing the content in a laptop with 1366x768 resolution)
- There is a big header mentioning the chapter title.
- And a section in the bottom to see next chapter or exam.

Thank you for posting to Share Idea. We recommend trying the new Python courses in the Skills for All site. The layout of the curriculum is different than Cisco NetAcad.

Thank you for posting to Share Idea. Individuals can graduate students from the Course Completion page. This link is in the Grades section of your course. I recommend reviewing the FAQs for more information. Instructors and Facilitators can graduate students.

Packet Tracer
My students are unable to install Packet Tracer on windows 11 PCs.
unless the apps settings are switch off of "S" mode.
Ideas?

Thank you for posting to Share Idea. There are no immediate plans to add Packet Tracer to the Microsoft store. They are looking at this for possible future releases.
