  1. Misaligned display with new release 75 of firefox

    Since a couple of days, informations and buttons are missing on my Firefox v75.0 Home screen. It's ok with Edge 81 and Firefox 74.0
    See the pdf attached.

  2. Connect Cisco ONE with Clever for single sign on.

    Many academic institutions already use some type of single sign on either with Google, O365, or Clever. Please allow students to connect their Net Acad profile (now Cisco One) with Clever.

  3. add CA or ITC to the courses taught in an ITC academy

    Regarding ITC academies, it would be nice to have CA or ITC written in all courses in order for instructors to quickly distinguish which course is CA an which one is ITC.

  4. Speed up access to the curriculum

    Instructors really work so hard to teach even someone who has not undergone any prior learning and ends up understanding, they should be recognized and appreciated

  7. Grade book

    In the site we create courses that contains up to 100 students at the end we have to down 3 or 4 grade books depending on how many courses we have. I work for a university therefore I deal with large number of students. It would be nice if there can be an option on the website to do to download the grade book that contains all students regardless of how many courses you have.

  8. Again (after 4 months): Login process, why twice?

    Hi Support, almost always, the first login, on a Win 10 Pro PC, fails. The timeglass runs in the top-left corner for two seconds, then stops and nothing happens. So you have to click Log In + Login a second time.
    After that, the user and password are already there, but the "Sign in" button is gray, so you have to click it twice, the first time to turn it blue, and the second time to actually sign in. Not so user friendly...

    We have fixed the issue of needing to click on the Login button twice as long as the page as finished loading.

    Users that are using Password Manager tools or saving their login information to their browsers may experience the sign in button being gray. They are working to improve this feature. We do not have any time estimates on when these improvements will be available.

  10. Fixing the time zone flaw

    Student report from most of my students:

    "Please attempt again to correct your timezone mechanism.
    I was able to change it within Canvas but Cisco did not give me the option to change my settings. I am listed with an African time zone."

    Fix this flaw ASAP please as my students'assignments and exams show the incorrect timezone date making it impossible for them to do their work.

    Long back story, but I will attempt to shorten it.

    Your helpdesk told me that when my students were registering for accounts this term our academy timezone was incorrect, without my intervention or…

    Thank you for all of the information. There was an issue with some student’s profiles not updating correctly in the New Experience. This has been fixed so they will see assignments based on the timezone in their profile.

    Assessments (those with the green puzzle icon in New Experience) us the time from the individual’s computer instead of the profile timezone.

    We will keep this idea in mind for future updates so all places in NetAcad use the same timezone.

  11. Integrate logon with Clever (or others).

    Allow users to login with Clever, Google, or Office 365. The are three popular authentication methods being used by schools to give student a SSO experience.

    Allow us to list more than one name and email address of people to be notified when academy recognized.

  14. Categorise the courses

    Hi,

    I would like to have the option to list the NetAcad courses according to a specific category. Currently, they are only listed in a random order (please see attached). It would be of great help to all instructors, especially those who are new to the academy and may not be ITE, CCNA or CCNP certified to be able to tell immediately which courses they can teach. Suggested categories include, certification required, self-enrolled, instructor-led only courses, partner and community courses.

  15. NetAcad Mobile App

    As you all know mobile apps are more important than Web based learning. We should develop mobile app for students and all NetAcad users. Students can easily learn his/her courses on Mobile app as compare to website.

  16. seat tokens registration

    • When registering students in a course using seat tokens:
    • The fields of the form after successful submitting still appear for the students, this will lead many students to submit again then the message "Seat token has already been redeemed." appear. (this makes a conflict). I think it is better to remove the fields after successful submit or redirect to another page.
    • the email received after submitting the seat token marked as Spam. So many students say (We didn't receive an email).

    Thank you for the information regarding seat tokens.

    We have tested and we have not been able to duplicate the issues you described. When redeeming seat tokens a success message appeared letting the user know to check their email.

    We do ask all users to ensure they can receive email from noreply@cisco.com and noreply@netacad.com. This is in the login FAQs in Cisco NetAcad and in the pre-login pages.

    We appreciate your suggestions to limit the number of steps students have to take to register an account. We will continue to work on ways to improve this process.

  17. Link to Course from a Message Inbox

    Using Inbox and reading a message from a student, it could be useful to have a direct link to course the student enrolled.
    Now the instructors has to come back to "My NetAcad", to select the course( if he has many as I it can be boring) and then to perform the necessary actions to solve the student issue.
    He repeats the process for each message.

    The main page on Netacad should show News feeds and should facilitate sharing those news feeds to social media platforms.
