  2. Making the certificate available at the student's homepage to be at the discretion of the instructor

    At the completion of a course, after student being marked complete by the instructor, the certificate of completion appear at the student's page. This give the students the opportunity to have the soft copy of the certificate. In so many cases, some dubious students doctor the soft copy, change the name of the student, attest the instructor signature and issue a forged certificate to colleague who didn't complete the course or issues such certificate to a friend who didn't participate in the class. It can simply be curbed if there is provision In the administration tool through which certificate availability…

  3. Demonstration licences for software products

    Would it be possible for Cisco to offer demonstration licences for software packages like prime. So a local install could be used as an alternative to cloud based options like dcloud/dev net. to allow students to see and experience the types of software used in industry.

  5. Implement a change to "Launch Course" by allowing instructor content to display with Cisco curriculum instead of under "Modules"

    Currently instructor created content only shows up under "Modules" button. Implement a change so that the instructor created content shows up via "Launch Course" along with the Cisco created content. The instructor created content should only show up for the instructor that created it - no other instructors should see it.

  7. connecting spark

    Is there any way we can push all class students in to spark in one click into a group; easy to chat and share; which could help students to be in touch till the end of course. after course instructor can delete group.

  8. Make it easier to CLONE/COPY courses

    Provide step-by-step instructions for instructors to use the same coursework for more than 1 year. When exporting you have no instruction for importing and changing course dates. Very difficult... :(

  9. Self Pace courses for Coding like Python and cloud computing.

    We would love to include some self pace coding and cloud computing courses to our students. The instructor led is not as flexible for our offerings but the self-pace would work the best.

  10. Add link from inside class back to Course Details

    It would be helpful if there was a link in the course that could take you back to the course details for the current class. An example is when you are in the class and you wish to add a student you have to go back to I'm Teaching, find the class and click on course details.

  11. Requesting to add Academy Orientation into 'Create Course' list in ITC

    I found most of the new instructors are getting difficulties and lack of knowledge to use most of the Netspace tools because they have not completed the Academy Orientation course properly.

    Therefore, please consider to add Academy Orientation course into the ITC course creation list. Then, we can monitor their activities before the instructor accreditation. Never the less, this will help us to identify most lacking areas and they can be addressed in local IPDs.

    Me gustaría y no creo que solo a mi, sino también a muchos de nuestros instructores, que dentro de la plataforma de Netacad se puedan aperturar y obviamente lanzar los cursos que ya desde hace mucho tiempo se requieren.

    CCNA VOIP
    CCNA DATA CENTER
    CCDA
    Considero que al lanzar estos cursos ya estaríamos dando mayores opciones a los estudiantes de elegir cursos de buen nivel con miras a especializarse no solo en R&S o seguridad, sino también en temas inalambricos, de VOZ sobre IP, diseño de redes e incluso…

  14. Add a WAN Technology

    In the latest version of Connecting Networks, we lost frame relay but was not replaced with anything. Yes, PPPoE was added but with this is not considered as a replacement for a shared WAN technology, and had limited applications. I would like to suggest that we add either Metro Ethernet or MPLS to Connecting networks. To address the concern some may have regarding alignment of the Netacad course materials to those of the CCNA industry certification, the related labs can be marked as optional.

  15. set focus on username for the login screen

    When I click the login link, the login screen appears. Focus is not set on the login screen, so I have to click on the Username text box. Set the GotFocus property of the username box to true (or whatever the equivalent is for your environment.) My VB may be a bit rusty, but the idea is pretty easy.

  16. Packet Tracer for Mac OS X

    Develop a native supported Packet Tracer application. Mac OS is almost as popular as the windows platform, but there is only a functioning software for windows. Even most of the technical staff at Cisco that I have met use Mac OS as platform. This is a problem as i can see it, especially in the education regarding the students access to practical skills.

    NetAcad regularly monitors usage on NetAcad.com. The latest metrics indicated only 2% of our users are using the Macintosh platform to access NetAcad.com. In comparison, 89% of the users are using Windows and Linux platform.

    We will continue to monitor usage and will consider Packet Tracer MacOS support based on customer data.

  18. Resources for other CCNx tracks

    Is it possible to add support for other CCNA/CCNP tracks beyond
    R&S, such as Collaboration or Wireless

    not as full courses but as basic resources
    like the former voice primer E.G. as equipment/software bundles and some basic starter materials.
