  2. Bring back NetAcad - It Worked!

    Why Cisco has killed off a system that was working reliably and moved us all to a complex and definately unreliable system is beyond me. I am so over NetSpace.
    A negative statement that I shouldn't make but really NetSpace so far as given me nothing but trouble.

    Paul,
    Again, I apologize for your frustration and thanks for your patience. We know that the move to NetSpace has taken extra effort on your part and has been a significant change.

    We also apologize for the performance issues that you and your students experienced last week. There were some capacity issues with the assessment system that have been identified and are being resolved. In addition, to the resolution of those issues, there is a release scheduled in the next few months that will address some of the other issues you have raised. These include:

    1. Load in a new window button being removed
    2. The security messages should be gone
    3. Being able to see the questions they got right and/or wrong, depending on the instructor’s preference

  3. Solicitude of certification of course and ltter integrated in gradebook

    I think is more clear include the gert certification and letter in gradebook. you want know directly who are candidate and make the request.

  4. Que se puede selecionar en bloque los alumnos que ya estan dentro de la plataforma para el siguiente curso

    Es que cunado yo busque el nombre del alaumno puede ir selecionando uno a uno y cuando ya este selecionados todos poder errolarlos

    Good news, there is new way to enroll students from one course to the other. Please view the tutorial – New Re-enroll Students. You can find this by going to the NetSpace home page, click on Program, then NetSpace Tutorials. I hope this helps!

  7. Must be able to edit all fields when editing Course infromation.

    I created a course and named it CCNA Exploration 3. After creating it and enrolling students I realised that I assigned the wrong course curriculum to it. I tried to edit but the system won't allow me to change the course curriculum.

    Now I have to do the whole process all over again. The old CNAMS allowed us instructors to edit all fields including course curriculum.

  8. Fix the voting counter so that when I submit one vote it deducts only one vote

    The counter said that I had 10 votes to give. I was careful to place place one vote only. For my next vote the counter said that I now only had 6 votes left. Please repair the vote counter function on what needs repairing ...

  11. ASA in Packet tracer

    i hope to add other components to packet tracer device librairies like essentially ASA

    and hope to participate to develop theses aspects with the packet tracer technical team, from my academy as a contribution.

    Please visit the Packet Tracer Community page. It is available from the NetSpace home page by clicking on Communities. There are discussion forums set up specifically to talk about new features. Also, this is where you will sign up to become a beta tester, when we reach that stage.

  12. Instructor can not take the exam

    Before in Academy Connection we can active exams to our self to test or to know what going inside exams.

  13. Make curriculum better for mobile

    I appreciate that you are trying to make the curriculum on the website viewable on mobile devices BUT this is still far from where it needs to be. It is almost unusable on smartphone screens and a pain to use on tablet screens. Make the reading content more like an eBook reading experience. Please Cisco conform to Web Standards and use HTML 5 with JavaScript and ditch this archaic flash content.

  15. Concluding a Course

    Could you add the functionality to conclude a course after the course end date has passed? It seems more secure to not have to extend the end date of a course before you conclude it.

    Thanks, Christopher. You will be able to do this following these steps:

    1. Go to the course home page.
    2. Click on ‘Settings’ in the lower left side of the page.
    3. Click on ‘Permanently Delete this Course’.
    4. Click on ‘conclude the course instead’.
    5. Click on ‘Conclude Course’
    This will then manually conclude the course.

  17. Maintenance Weekends only if possible

    Normally the maintenance is done on weekends. This maintenance, however, is due to the Academy Connection closure. Thank you for your patience.

    Hi Jawid,
    This functionality is now in place. You can show up to 50 students on a page, select as many as you want and enroll them with one click. If you want to move to the next page to select more, the system will ask if you want to enroll those already selected before proceeding. If you click yes they will be enrolled as you move to the next page.

  20. Import Academy Connection course

    It would be very helpful if I could import an entire Academy Connection course.
    1) the students in the course (if nothing else, at least this much)
    2) the grades

    I would like to be able to do this for open AND completed courses.
