Glossary
Please add the Glossary feature to the IT Essentials v5.0; it existed in the 4.0 and 4.1 version; this feature allowed students and teacher to be on the same page; when it came to testing learning the course content this was the first search engine of source for definitions; now it;s Google, webopedia, techterms you name it; we need one source. Thank you

Weight chapter test differently
My original post which has been closed:
In the old academy we could give different weights to each chapter. I am only able to see where we can adjust the weight for all chapters and not individual chaptes.The answer received:
Hi Brian,
Under Assignments, click on Weight the final grade based on assignment groups. This way you can create separate assignment groups for each chapter (click on Add Assignment Group). The weight is placed on the group rather than the individual assignments. There are also tutorial availables (Program>NetSpace Tutorials. I hope this helps.

Bring over the Jeopardy review files from the old site
Is there any way to get those handy powerpoint Jeopardy games onto the new site? They were so nice to have when we were finished with our labs and wanted to prepare for the netacad quiz

Thanks for your post! These are not assets created or managed by Cisco. Please visit the Communities in NetSpace and hopefully another instructor may have and be willing to share ppt Jeopardy games.

Multiple courses
To allow the Instructor to run multiple courses where possible

Autopopulate the Assignments from Files Section (or pre-configured by the Cisco Academy) :)
I am looking for the curriculum activities, labs, and assessments to be available to place on the calendar. The number of clicks to create an assignment is rather excessive, and multiplied by many assignments and multiple courses, seems (unfortunately) not reasonable.
I utilize Canvas (Instucture) to teach other courses (Project Lead The Way (PLTW), pltw.instructure.com) and the activities and labs have already been entered into the calendar area. This seems to be part of the Instructure Canvas template. For a PLTW instructor, this makes sense, and easier to plan and modify assignments when necessary. It seem each Cisco Academy instructor…

place lab numbers in the title of the lab activities
Please place the lab numbers in the title of the lab activities. (Currently, they are only in the file names).

when somebody is trying to recover their user name or password, they should be able to type in their e-mail address as a way to identify themselves. If they forget their user name, there is no way to recover their password.

Instructor Planning Guides don't match curriculum content
Maybe I am going stupid but the "Instructor Planning guides" I have downloaded for "Introduction to Networks" and "Networking Basics" don't seem to match up correctly to their respective curriculums.

We have validated numerous discrepancies in the Instructor Planning Guides and will fix them on the next release. We will communicate the release date as soon as we possibly can.

Importing csv list donìt let accentued vowels used in Spanish language
When I try import a csv list to create enrolment reject this but have accentued vowels, letter eñe, and some national symbols.

Create widget for favourite classes on main page
As instructor, i can see many classes in my teach list. I want to mark some classes as favourite and see them in the top of the list or in some favourite zone.

Time spent in a module/chapter
It would be nice to be able to see how long a student spent on the curriculum. Like how long they spent in the chapter, if they did the activity correctly. Right now, I'm going to ask my students to take screen shots to verify that they did the activity, but it would be nice if that was a field in the system.

Is there a way to help the translation of Netspace GUI to our own language?
A few strings are translated by some translation machine to our language (Hungarian) but it is quite incorrect, well, just like machine translation... If there is a way to help, we volunteer.
