  1. Change boot/load time in Packet Tracer

    In packet tracer, I would like to see a longer boot time for the devices. Not quite as long as actual equipment, but a little longer so maybe students who have routers and switches would use them more often.

  2. Students Dashboard

    Is it possible to make dashboards for the students?
    Once we select any students we can see what courses he is enrolled in the past and what courses he is enrolled now.
    The exams he has cleared in the past.

    Items should be able to be removed from the calendar by deleting the due date for the assignment. If this is not what is happening, can you please contact the Support Desk directly by going to the Help link after logging into Cisco NetAcad. They will work with you to gain a better understanding of the issue and report any discrepancies to the development team.

  6. Restrict access to the Exam based on the IP address of the user.

    I just learned on the forums of the Netspace community that there is a possibility how to check what IP address the student last logged in from, but it is an option available only for managers. I think that is a very important option for instructors also to restrict access to the exam for students in the classroom based on the subnet of the user (during the activation of the exam) .   7. Assessment Activation - more options needed

    The Activation tool would be much more user friendly if the following options were available:

    • modify an existing activation (such as change the start/end date/time or change the duration of each attempt)

    • bulk activations need the option to change duration of each attempt from 1:00 to whatever is desired

    Thank you for your feedback. We understand and agree with your comment, but at this time we will be unable to implement a solution to allow for modification of existing activation dates/times. You can delete and recreate the activation or create a new second activation if you would like to extend the exams availability.

    For your second bullet point, as previously mentioned, you will want to set up an Activation Profile and set the Duration to whatever you want in there. When you go to bulk-activate exams, you can then check the box ‘Apply Activation Profile’ and it will change the settings to the personalized settings you made on your activation profile.
