Packet Tracers updates NEED to be communicated to instructors
Packet Tracer updates are not being disseminated effectively, AND, updating to the newer DOES NOT remove the older version.

search box in manage accreditation (ITC)
When I want to accredit instructors (manage accreditation), I can't search directly. I must read all class members, even if I have 5 pages.

Are you referring to a Search in manage users?
You can now filter out students, increase the number of viewable users and use your browser’s “find” to find a user!

Discussion Topic carry through multiple courses
It would be nice to create one discussion topic that maybe carried through multiple courses.
e.g. created in ITN and then able to be populated into RSE, SN, CN

Online Packet Tracer
Provide a version of Packet Tracer in the Networking Academy site.
Students who work for companies that do not allow installation of software on their corporate computers could perform simulations directly on the site.

We are in the process of experimenting with PT in the Cloud, but we are only at the proof of concept stage. Another way to gain access to PT without installing on a work computer would be install it on a personal computer and then do a remote control browser based application.

Graduate tracking

We are looking for a tool to track our graduates progress in regards to employment, continuing education and certification status. We love Netacad's layout and would like to see if there is a way we could add this functionality to offer a portal through Netacad where our Graduates could update their accounts with this information.4 votes -
Ability to select specific students in the gradebook and have a printed version or a save file feature of only their gradebook.
Be able to select one or more specific students in the gradebook, and have a print button to print a version of each of their gradebooks. I need to do this for each student in my apprentices class and I usually print screen the whole gradebook and edit it - too time consuming for a lot of students.

You can print the gradebook for each student by opening student Grades: Grades → Student → Print Grades or select the student from the people menu: People → Student → Grades → Print Grades.

Academy Orientation Course located with other self enrolled courses
At present the Self enrolled course is in a hard to find location. As it is a genuine self enrolled course how come it isn't located with the other programs

Bank of questions for ITE V 5.0 final exam
The final exam for ITE V 5.0 has only 60 questions, the answers to all of these are freely available online in multiple places. In order for this exam to have any integrity it needs a bank of questions. The previous version of ITE had three exams that could be randomly allocated. The same or better needs to be incorporated into version 5.

There are 20,000 instructors and 1 million students with access to data that can transmit around the globe at the speed of light. We understand your desire for test banks. We do author a fairly large bank of questions for an entire course. Most courses have 500-600 items authored between the pretest, quizzes, chapter exams, finals, practice finals, and certification practice. However, we specifically design questions at different levels depending on their usage to help the students learn in a progressive fashion. Curriculum-embedded interactive activities, build up to quizzes, which provide the foundation for chapter exams. Chapter exams build up to checkpoint and final exams just as labs and PT activities build up to the Hands-On Skills Assessment. Finals usually contain integrative, more summative tasks. ASA Firewalls working with IOS
Currently, the ASA Firewall on Packet Tracer and CCNA Security are working with a specific OS, which makes many commands different from their coouterparts on IOS-run routers and switches.
Therefore, It would be nice for ASA Firewalls to share the same IOS implemented on routers and switches, as the learning curve for those devices would be much easier.1 vote -
Move Packet Tracer download link to main instructor page
Similar to a couple of other instructors, it should be easier for instructors to find and download Packet Tracer.
For students, the link is on their main login page. It should be there for instructors as well. Best I can do is click Resources then navigate; it's several clicks to get to the downloads.It would also be nice to make a link available within the Canvas course; that way, I can put the link to PT on the main student page there. Back and forth from Class gear to Classe manage
From the gear associate to a Class you have the Button "Go to Class" for going to the main page of Class management. BUT you do not have the reverse button to go from the Class management page to the gear (Instructors, Students, Certificates, end so on).

Turkish Language Option of Cisco NetSpace

We first submitted the Turkish Languages Cisco Netspace about selection "Share Idea" on Jan 23, 2014. Canvas Instructure system has completed the transition to the Turkish Language. We have a request of Turkish translation of Cisco Netspace to Instructure after supporting the implementation of Canvas. You may Netspace Cisco scheduled this issue.Thanks

Hey i suggested CISCO Academy Administrator to build a database of questions & answers so that instructor can freely setup end chapter exams and final exams of each module. This could access of different question answers on Internet.
