Netspace Points and Recognition Icon on Homepage
So instructors will be more motivated to participate in Community discussion, it will be a great idea to have his Recognition Icons and Netspace points viewable in his Homepage, maybe below his name, or an area where it can easily be seen by the instructor.

Instructor need to have the ability to change student email accounts
Instructor need to have the ability to change student’s email accounts. It is quite unforgiving in this area. Weather it may be due to an entry typo, misinformation, etc., it would be nice for instructor to have the ability to edit a student’s email account.

Due to legal concerns, we can only allow users to edit their own names and email addresses. However, as an instructor, if a student loses their password or forgets their username you can go to the course info page (click on the gear icon next to the course name) and in the student section view the student’s user name and reset their password.

Display the Institution ID!!!!!!!!!!
We currently have multiple students with the same last and first names...PLEASE display the institution ID when listing enrolments and allow us to search using the ID. It's the only field that does not and cannot be changed!

Instructors & Students Class should be in a Separate Tab/Form
I am student Instructor & also an Instructor Trainer. I am not able to distinguish the classes between students & instructors in my home page. There should be some indication in the home page itself reg whether the class is from ITC or CA like that.
Right now I had experienced a problem reg that. By mistake I had created a Students class under ITC & enrolled the students also in the class. After that only by instance I came to know that it was through ITC which needs to be from CA.
So please create some differentiation in the…

We recommend adding an “S” (student) or an “I” (instructor) at the beginning of the course name to differentiate your courses.

Updated Date when editing Announcements
I use the Announcement Link regularly on each student class for job/internship applications, graduation applications, new Academy courses and programs, etc. When I update an Announcement, the original date of creation still appears. Students use the Announcement Link, view the announcement title and date, but don’t click or read the edited announcement, assuming it hasn’t been updated. Could the edited date appear on the Announcements, rather than the original creation date?

Update the student's name on the certificate when changing it on Network Academy
If there was a mistake in a student's name on the certificate, it will be easier to resolve this issue by syncing the name on the certificate with the student name on the Network Academy website, as the student can correct his/her Netacad name if needed on the profile page at anytime from anywhere.

ITE Alumni access to materials
Hello All,
Regarding ITE Alumni:
It appears that after the ITE course is completed and the instructor closes the course students are unable to visit the course materials anymore through their login.
I can recall that students doing the CCNA can still read materials after the course is closed. E.g. I have completed recently both CCNA 1 and 2. The course is closed but when I login I can still read the course chapters.
I understand that students have to currently send a request to have it turned on so they can still access the information.Proposed change:

Thanks for your feedback. NetSpace students should have access to the closed classes they took, this applies to CCNA and ITE. They will only lose access if the class is deleted by the instructor and only Academy Connection students need to request access but mainly because they need a NetSpace account created.

Instructions on how to use the forums
In the community forums it would be very useful to have a link to instructions on how to use the forums. For example, I'd like to attach a document to a reply, but I cannot see how to do it. I guess I could start a new thread and ask experienced users how they do it.

Ability to EMAIL to all students, instructors, etc.
I think it would be a good idea to have the same tool we had in the Academy Connection website to send email to all students and instructors. Not only to the students enrolled, but to ALL students, instructors, coordinators, etc. of our Academy.
If the Academy is an ASC or an ITC, this ability should be extended to send email to the staff of the affiliated Academies.
It would be better if the AC students can be included in the mailing list.
83 votesWe appreciate your feedback, however, at this time we will not be implementing this within the Cisco Academy being able to email students outside of a class they are enrolled in due to Cisco privacy policy. The ASC ability to to email supported Cisco Academies is in progress.

To reduce cheating, teacher should have option to edit online exams
The on-line exams are great! However, to minimize cheating (students searching answers posted on-line), consider allowing teachers the ability to tweak the exams, making each exam unique to their academy (yet still similar to others)...this would reduce students ability to cheat.
Also, allowing teachers to share these "edited exam questions" with each other would allow a question to have multiple forms and possible solutions. This would minimize a student's ability to cheat.

Course Feedback Results to PDF
I think if the canvas is providing a feature to get the Course Feedback Results to a pdf that will be a good opportunity to share the participant's responds with the external parties such as top management of the academies, sponsors of the program and etc.

Under the “Academy Success Dashboard” report there is Student Feedback information from the Course Feedback Results that can be downloaded to a PDF document. More information on the Academy Success Dashboard is available from the Academy Reports page. Go to NetSpace Home and than from your Manage tab click on “Access Academy Reports”.
If you need more detailed information, I recommend contacting your ASC (Academy Support Center) for their recommendations.

Missin scroll bar
CCNA Security 1.2 Online Curriculum: There is often missing Scroll bar, for example in Search or in Index - just two arrows Up and Down are really annoying.
