Exam feedback
Students should be able to review all the questions and answers on an exam just not the ones that got wrong. It is a learning tool.
1 voteHi Andrea,
Not sure if you saw Telethia’s comment below:
Instructors have the flexibility to allow the students to review just missed questions or all questions in their item feedback report. After clicking on the exam link, you can click on Student Performance Summary. There are a set of options at the top left of the page that can be toggled on an off. Uncheck Students View Only Missed Questions.
Thank you,

For IT Essentials 1, to allow the Chapters 1-6 test to be assigned a percentage of assessment and grouped with the Online Exam (with differe
For ITE1, the Chapter 1-6 assessment is often used as a halfway assessment by teachers of this subject. But it cannot be dragged to the Final Exam grouping and each be given an independent weighting (for some reason).
Improving this function would greatly improve the usefulness of this section.

copy individual assignments
I would like to be able to copy and paste individual assignments to other classes. I have several different classes running simultaneously and would love to be able to select assignments/ discussions etc copy and paste them to other classes.
3 votesHi Brad,
Good news, assignments can be copied from one class to another. There is a tutorial available. From the NetSpace home page, go to Program, NetSpace Tutorials and Copy a course. I hope this helps!

Allow assessments to be run in the Respondus LockDown Browser
The LockDown browser really does a fantastic job of cutting down on cheating during exams. It completely locks the user into the browser; Alt-Tab doesn't work, Ctrl-Shft-Del doesn't work.
Canvas has the capability of using this feature, but it is not enabled in NetSpace.
It would be very nice to have, at least for custom quizzes.
118 votesThank you for the suggestion to use the Respondus Lockdown browser. We’re very concerned about student cheating and continue to pursue multiple strategies to minimize the impact. After careful analysis and consideration, we have concluded that this technology does not address the issue sufficiently to justify the cost of implementation. We have therefore decided not to implement that feature at this time for the NetAcad program. We value your input and while we may not implement every request, we very much appreciate you taking the time to help us make NetSpace even better. – NetAcad Support

Hi Luc,
You will have to deactivate the assessment in Manage Activations (Activation Tool) and then reactivate the exam.
I hope this helps!

An option to automatically disable all the assignments & extend overlaped exams
Something that I think it would be very usefull is a option to automatically disable all the assignments which are activated for the students. Even with the Activation Tools (tool that I love, thank you :D ), to disable 10 ou 11 assignments is a painfull job. I think this option would improve our use of the new plataform and most of the instructor would love this (words of a instructor too!)
Another thing is the Assignments overlap. Imagine if when you are going to activate an assignment there is one which is already up. What do you do? You…

Lab files in word document format
There was more room to respond in open response format. I could reduce printing of labs to 1 or 2 pages for correction. Is there a way to get the new labs in a word document format?

Add exam time limit to advanced activation profile
(Exam) Activation profile does not appear to allow selection of a time to take an assessment. The default is 1 hour. I need to reenter each exam and create a custom advanced activation just to change the time limit to 2 hours.
Please add that capability to the class profile.
1 voteHi Karl,
You can create this under your Activation Profile in the Activation Tool on your course home page. Click on the Activation Tool then Create (or Edit) your Activation Profile. This will then be the default for your exams. There is a tutorial available (Program>NetSpace Tutorials>Activation Tool).
Thanks,

Exam activation for 1 student only
To shorten the method of activating a Chapter Exam for a single student or for a few students only.
At the moment you have to activate the chapter exam for the entire class first and then deactivate all the students that are not suppose to write the exam.
1 voteHello,
I apologize for the delay. In order to activate an exam for one student:
Click on Assignments, click on the exam you wish to activate, Click Create Advanced Activation, the page that will show up is Settings, click the Students tab (next to Settings) and choose which student you would like to activate the exam for. I hope this helps,
Thank you! -
Allow multiple advanced activations for tests.
Allow instructors to set up more than one advanced activation at a time for example: Set up one activation to run from Friday from 5:30 pm to Wednesday at 5:15pm for a practice exam. Then set up another advanced activation from Wednesday at 5:30pm to Wednesday at 7:30pm for a graded test.
i am being told by the helpdesk that this is not available yet according to the Share Ideas. Kimberly Kupanoff responded to the same idea that it has been implemented.1 vote -
Add assessment duration to batch activation
Many instructors provide longer than the default 1 hour given for assessments. It would be nice to be able to set this in your activation profile so that instructors do not need to activate exams individually to be able to set the duration longer.
1 voteHi Trent,
This is available in your Activation Profile. When you click on Activation Profile, in the second section is the Activation Window. You can set this for up to 90 days. There is an Activation Tool tutorial available from the NetSpace home page, click on Program then NetSpace Tutorials. Please let me know if you have additional questions.
Thanks,

Adjust Time Allowed for Assignments feature in default activation profile
In the Activation tool there is no way to adjust the time allowed for assignments. There is no way to adjust the assignment duration allowed in the default activation profile.
The only way I can adjust the time allowed for an assignment is to create assignments one by one using the advanced settings. That's if I want the students to be allowed more than the default 1 hour.
4 votesHello,
In the Activation Tool, you can create an Activation Profile, which will allow you to set the duration for an activation and this will become the default for future activations in this course. This profile can also be copied to future course offerings. Please view the New Activation Tool tutorial for more information. Thank you! -
Quizz activation tool
Can we be provided with a quiz activation tool like we have for chapter assessments. The Internet cheating of chapter exams has reached an unbearable point, and the only way to overcome this is for instructors to create their own chapter exams using the quiz tool provided in NetSpace
1 voteHi J.B.
You can use the Quiz tool to deliver you own exams. We highly encourage that. You can make your quizzes graded, shown 1 at time, etc. Explore the quiz tool. There are more tutorials in the Canvas Guides. http://guides.instructure.com/s/2204/m/4152/c/23861

View your CCENT, CCNA Practice and Skills exam averages plotted against other Academies across our region.
In analytics I would like to be able to see the average scores from other academies in my region and compare them to my academy, the academy names should not be identified, just regional averages.

Be able to activate all assessments as the same time. Just like the old Netacad assessements
Have a single link that can activate all assessments at once just like the old netacad site.
1 voteHi Martin,
I want to make sure you are aware of the new Activation Tool. This is located on the left side of your course home page. Thank you! -
Disable right-click and Ctrl key in chapter exams
Even though most exams are proctored by instructors, some exams like practice final or pretest in the new curricula are done at home.
There are times when students have copied the question and emailed it to their instructor for explanation or clarification.
I believe it would be a better idea to disable right-click and the use of keyboard to copy questions in order to avoid dissemination of questions among students or social networking websites.7 votesHello,
Thank you again for your suggestion. At this time, this isn’t something that we are looking at implementing. We appreciate your feedback.
Thanks,

Implement student test version tracking
My idea would be to implement student test tracking to record which versions of a final exam that a student has taken. As part of our curriculum, students who fail an exam for a certain module are allowed to retest for that same module. I would like for there to be an option to where we can keep track of which version of an exam a student has taken so we can ensure that we don't give them the same version of an exam when they retest.
