Allow assessments to be run in the Respondus LockDown Browser
The LockDown browser really does a fantastic job of cutting down on cheating during exams. It completely locks the user into the browser; Alt-Tab doesn't work, Ctrl-Shft-Del doesn't work.
Canvas has the capability of using this feature, but it is not enabled in NetSpace.
It would be very nice to have, at least for custom quizzes.
Thank you for the suggestion to use the Respondus Lockdown browser. We’re very concerned about student cheating and continue to pursue multiple strategies to minimize the impact. After careful analysis and consideration, we have concluded that this technology does not address the issue sufficiently to justify the cost of implementation. We have therefore decided not to implement that feature at this time for the NetAcad program. We value your input and while we may not implement every request, we very much appreciate you taking the time to help us make NetSpace even better. – NetAcad Support
