STOP concluding classes automatcially
Stop concluding classes automatically!!! Or have it do it 10 or 15 days after the end date
This is a VERY frustrating "feature" and causes undue work.
For example, not all students print their certificates - right away. So, I get several e-mails asking why they can't, and I have to go in and re-enable the class, AND, answer all the e-mails.
Also, when a student needs and extension, again, I have to go in and re-enable the class.
Hello Rick, thank you for your feedback. The functionality has not changed when an end date is reached, the course is simply moved to the ‘Show Concluded’ side. It still has the same functionality as if you let the end date passed and still accessed the course from the ‘active’ section, but now you can access it from the ‘Show Concluded’ section as to free up room instructors wanted on their ‘active’ section. Students will still be able to access course completion certificates of a course that has the end date passed or even has been manually concluded by the instructor. They will do so from their profile page, if they can’t, then you will want to ensure that you have marked the student as ‘pass’ in the gradebook first. You can still activate exams and students can click on their ‘View Course History’ link to access the courses and exams.
