Allow Random Packet Tracer Scenarios to be saved!
Please allow the Packet Tracers that randomly generate a subnet scenario to remain the same scenario once they are save to a local disk drive. My students sometime require more than on 50 minute class period to complete a VLSM subnetting Packet Tracer activity. Very frustrating when they open their file the next day and its all new information.

BTW, maybe your students didn't set their user profile in Packet Tracer or just leave it as "guest", that could be why the activity reset itself each time when it opens.
They can set a user profile in "Options/User Profile" menu.
If user profile is the same as last time when it saves, it will keep the previous settings, otherwise it will reset the activity to prevent cheating. -
