Restrict student enrollments in different order than CCNA R&S Course 1, Course 2, Course 3 and Course 4
Currently, the Cisco NetAcad platform don't have any restrictions in this regard and it is possible for a student to be enrolled in class CCNA R&S course 4, to request and receive voucher for certification without the study courses 1, 2 and 3.
Hello Gabriel,
Thank you for your feedback. This can be enforced by your local academy, but NetAcad will not be altered because some students have the experience and prior knowledge.

I do not like the restirictions as a whole and prefer to make the decision myself. I think that if a person has the knowledge and can demonstrate it by passing ccna 4, then they should be allowed the voucher.

I would also disagree with this. At my institution, many students often receive advanced standing due to work experience, other study, etc. A "hard" restriction makes it difficult to manage these.
As a suggestion and compromise that may work for all, could this be implemented as a "soft" warning / reminder? i.e such that the instructor can override as required? In any case, it is ultimately up the institution/instructor to ensure the outcomes of the institutions courses are met.
If there is a need (from the academy viewpoint) to ensure completion / mastery of previous courses, it could be made a requirement for students to complete some sort of "challenge" exam before being awarded the (cisco) certificate of completion. Not a suggestion, just a thought.

I think, enrollment in different courses at a time should be possible. It gives more flexibility to the students. But i don't agree in receiving a voucher without having done the exams of courses 1, 2 and 3.

I would disagree with this. In past we have taught classes to individuals that have been in the business for many years. They wish to get Cisco certified. If they can demonstrate they know the material and can receive a voucher more power to them. The course is designed for flexibility.
