Please make your website HTML5/CSS3/JavaScript compliant please.
Requiring Flash and Java plugins (which are targets of malware) is not good. Please make your website HTML5/CSS3/JavaScript compliant please.
Hi Michael, thank you for your feedback. The core curriculum is HTML5 compliant. If you still have an issue, please contact the Support Desk with specifics so that we can research your issue more. -NetAcad Support

Your question was not appropriate for the question he asked. Why is Cisco not following compliant web design?

He is not asking about when he has an issue with flash he is saying make your site compliant. Flash is dead. Adobe no longer supports for tablets, phones etc. I have taught for 13 years the cisco program and ever since you went with flash you program has fallen in serious woes. As he says make it compliant.

At the Academy Conference in 2012, Bill Frey told the audience that the new curriculum would be supported on mobile devices.

Flash content is not accessible from my Google Nexus 7 tablet. I understand that the intent was to have just the non-interactive content available for mobile. However, the technology is there to support interactive content in a mobile web browser using HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript without reliance on browser plugins such as Flash and Java that are desktop only and are targets for malware. If Cisco is serious about supporting mobile, it has a long way to go in achieving this goal!

It is best not to have flash. Flash on portable devices has been discontinued. Why is cisco going down this path? I district is moving to a tablet format in which flash is not supported.
As Michael says these are targets for malware and all kinds of problems. Look how often updates are released to solve security issues. It is not that anyone may be having a problem it is not a standard that is good to have on the site. WE had fewer problems in version 2.x of the material.
You may not have been around then but there was little to no flash or java. The site ran very well.
