Activation Tool
Extra Functionality... Add exam length in the activation profile.
Bug... Unchecking "Student view correct answer" in activation profile does not populate to actual activations.
Hi Zoe,
I’m happy to report that the Exam Duration is now available in your Activation Profile.
Thank you for your patience.

Hello Paul,
I received the feedback from the assessment team regarding your question:
1. There is a note at the bottom that indicates that anything that exceeds the maximum duration will convert to the default:
‘Exam Duration that exceed the authored maximum will be converted to the default duration. Exam durations that are below the minimum duration will be converted to the minimum duration.’
When setting up an activation profile, if the requested time exceeds the max allotted for the specific exam, then it will convert to the default. This is done because the batch of exams selected may have different setting depending on the type of exam and its use. In this case, the max for the CCNP and CCNAS chapter exams is 120 minutes in duration. That max for ITE and CCNA is 360 minutes. (The times are based on data collected on usage as well as feedback from the community). If the instructor wanted to apply the CCNA activation profile to the CCNP, it does not work.
2. Try changing the duration to 2 hours.
3. The 1 day max may be misleading and we are looking into ways to better communicate the maximums but it may vary from exam to exam and course by course.Thank you,

Hi Michael,
I just created my CCNP Route class Assignment Activation Profile with the Assignments having a 3 hour duration. Alas when I use the Activation tool either "Default" or "Advanced" the exam duration is still only 3 hours. I think we still have a bug in this process.
Regards, Paul Nielsen.
