  2. Minimise the number of clicks to access resources

    Remove the Load activity in new window button for assignments, activation & course material and load all content immediately into the current page.

  3. By making the material for the IT essentail course downloadable

    If we can make the material for the IT essentail course downloadable, it will help us in installing the material to the server directly istead of opening the site each time and browse the material at each ncomputer

    show missing requirements for the course is closed, because it only hides the button "close this course" but I do not know which requirements are missing

  7. Offline Version of the New Courses

    I am from Pakistan in a country where most people earn less than $100, the offline versions of exploration & discovery helped my students a lot if you can create something similar it will be helpful in developing or under-developing countries

  8. Must be able to edit all fields when editing Course infromation.

    I created a course and named it CCNA Exploration 3. After creating it and enrolling students I realised that I assigned the wrong course curriculum to it. I tried to edit but the system won't allow me to change the course curriculum.

    Now I have to do the whole process all over again. The old CNAMS allowed us instructors to edit all fields including course curriculum.

  9. In Managing Student Information: Instructors must be allowed to edit email field.

    Some students mistakenly put in a wrong email address during course enrolment. As a result, they don't receive the invitation.

    Instructors must be allowed to edit the email field so that we can resend the invitation to the correct email address.

    Hi Carlo, Due to legal concerns, we can only allow users to edit their own names and email addresses. However, as an instructor, if a student loses their password or forgets their username you can go to the course info page (click on the gear icon next to the course name) and in the student section, you can view the student’s user name and reset their password. Hope that helps.

  11. Make curriculum better for mobile

    I appreciate that you are trying to make the curriculum on the website viewable on mobile devices BUT this is still far from where it needs to be. It is almost unusable on smartphone screens and a pain to use on tablet screens. Make the reading content more like an eBook reading experience. Please Cisco conform to Web Standards and use HTML 5 with JavaScript and ditch this archaic flash content.

    Good news! The New Activation tool, located on the course home page, you can now view all of your assessments. For more information, please check out the Activation Tool tutorials. I hope this helps!

    Hi Clifford,
    There is a new Activation Tool located on your course home page. Click on the Activation Tool and go to Advanced Activation. You will then be able to choose the option of Student View Correct Answer. By default, this is selected. I hope this helps.

    In order to view the Final Exams, please create a “test” student account and you will be able to take and see the course as your students do. Thank you!

  16. Students should be able to retake assessments without instructor approval

    I am not sure why CISCO changed so many things that were beneficial, but I am spending A LOT more time dealing with administrative nonsense, such as having to approve retake of chapter assessments, and not being able to create more than one final activation at a time - I am all over new platforms - but making radical changes is NEVER advisable.

  17. "load activity in a new window" - get rid of this!

    Since just about everything task brings me to the page that has the blue dialog box "load activity in a new window' - why doesn't CISCO get rid of it?!

  18. Do not display deleted accounts in "Add Existing" searches

    If an account has been deleted from an academy under Manage->Manage Users, then this account should not be displayed when a search is made to add existing students to a course in that academy.

    This is one of the main purposes for deleting incorrect accounts: so they won't be inadvertently used.
