ASC need reseach the academy class record
Hello.
We are China ASC , we suggest that the ASC need reseach the academy class record via NetSpace.1 voteHello Chong,
ASCs have access to the ASC Dashboard in NetSpace that provides a high level view of curriculum activity within their supported academies. Due to privacy concerns, Cisco is not able to provide student information to any institution outside the academy. We are currently developing a new role that a Cisco Academy could assign to a representative from an ASC to allow them limited access to the academy’s Manage tab and Academy Success Dashboard. We plan on having this role available within the August/September timeframe. Thank you! -

Get rid of that button. Why don't just load the activity directly after clicking its link in the assessments section. Same thing with the activation tool

Common Links
With Netspace, there are "carpal tunnel" number of clicks to access common pages. I would like to suggest a module on the home page for commonly accessed pages.
Nice idea, eh? I know. Brilliant. I am sure it is on the way... before carpal tunnel sets in.

Upload a Folder, rather than individual files
Rather than uploading a .zip file, without the ability to unzip the same file on Netspace, it would be nice to have a feature to upload a folder of files rather than individually.
I am unsure why this was not part of the original. Any reason why? Is there an FTP Server?

Allow putting images from Files into Canvas Question Bank questions
Right now the only way to include an image is to upload to a server and post an url. The problem is that this now relies on multiple servers and the images are not associated with the course. Much better to be able to create a locked folder in Files and link directly to those images. It appears that we can do this is in the Quiz but not in the Question Bank -- the problem is it is necessary to use the Question Bank to randomize the order of questions and for mananging quizes in general.

View what the students see
It would be great to switch views since this is new and see things the way my students would see them so I can explain to them how to submit assignments.

The Student View is located under the “Settings” tab (on the left hand side of your course home page). Once you click on “Settings,” it is the first option on the right hand side of your screen.You can also set up a student account for yourself using another e-mail address.

Link for Support live chat is unavailable when language = portuguese

Thank you for your comment. Portuguese isn’t supported in the NetSpace live chat yet. On another note, we will have our NetSpace tutorials available in Portuguese at the end of the month! -
Add aditional user role at the institutions
I think it might be useful for some people to add additional user role under the ASC/ITC/CA of "institution employee". There is currently e.g. ASC Staff role. However this role also do have permission (more like admin). Sometimes there is a need to have the person enrolled under the ASC (e.g. cooperating institution - NRP) which is in close relationship to the institution, but should not be able to manage the institution.
Here is an example. We as an Academy Support Center do have couple of people which are responsible for solving issues for the academies. There are: 1 NetAcad…

Authentication issues with 3rd party cookies
Until early December 2012, having cookies enabled was sufficient to authenticate on to NetSpace (cisco.netacad.com). From January 2013, it is not possible, and 3rd party cookies need to be enabled as well. From a security point this is not really a good idea. What has changed?

For security and reporting purposes, assessments and content in NetSpace are delivered from a separate delivery system. The delivery system uses cookies for required session information. We use the Learning Tool Interoperability (LTI) standard for communicating between the systems. The LTI tool access pattern exists as a relationship between two separate domains, that of the consumer and that of the producer. The content and assessment delivery system, as the producer, exists on a different domain than learning management system where consumers access the content. Because the delivery system is being invoked from a different domain than consumer LMS, standard browser security models require the enabling of third party cookies to pass the correct cookies to the delivery system.

Grading Multiple Attempts on Quiz

The only way to view multiple attempts for a student on a quiz is to go to the quiz and click on the Gear. Then select "Show Studentt Quiz results". This displays a list of students. If you click on a student, you see any and all attempts taken and the score. Once you view the quiz/quizzes, there is no way to go "BACK" to the previous page. You need to go back to the quiz then click the gear again.... There should be a way to move through all the students like in…
