Reinstate 'advisor' role for new Moodle based Courses
Historically, the advisor role (and main contact) were able to see inside classes and offer support, admin and adjunct teaching - enabling busy Cisco Academies to delegate admin, have teacher support and scale delivery ... sadly, this role no longer works on the new Moodle experience - as far as we can ascertain, this can be reapplied, however our friends at Cisco need to understand if there is actual community interest/desire for this.
What this will do is potentially lock out courses and student admin when instructors leave, are ill or require support - which is an administrative concern.

Thank you for the feedback. We have added a Course Facilitator role. This will allow the instructor to add a Contact, Staff, or Advisor to their course through the Edit Course page. The Course Facilitator will have the same functionality as an instructor.

This will affect us under the fluid situation we all face. Wonder what’s the reason behind removing the role?

An essential requirement for us should 2 of our main Cisco instructors require to take long term absence, which is increasing in the current climate due to COVID, job fatigue, stress...

ok - this is worrying, will check with my colleagues tomorrow ... now wondering how we are going to manage during our extended lockdown over the winter and beyond - this does not look good at all

this is essential, I have just checked on a colleagues course, this MEANS that we CANNOT administer the courses of others, which is REQUIRED in our institution
