  2. email verification needed at the registration

    When a student register on netacad.com currently there is no email verification. If a student make a mistake on his email address while typing (eg. xxxxxx@gmail.com can be typed as xxxxxx@gamil.com) it wont get rejected but get registered. Hence student wont know he has done a mistake at the registration.

  3. Enable Moodle OpenAuth2 authentication on Login

    Enable OpenAuth2 settings for Google or Microsoft to improve security and reduce the number of passwords students need to remember.

  4. Student Password reset required

    Students can use the forgot password option if they need a password reset. However, in Networking Academies which as schools, working With 13-16 year olds, it would be extremely helpful if instructors (teachers) could have an option to trigger a password reset for the students. When a class is mid-flow, waiting for the student to sort out their password can be painfully slow, so giving the teacher the option to start that process would speed up things significantly. Please can we have this.

  5. Add Email Address with name in Messages

    Many time we have students with same name in a single course/class it is difficult to find which student has contacted using message option. Please add email address with name so one can see who has contacted.

  7. Present activated chapter exams in the course calendar as events to follow

    Considering all the courses of the new experience, in particular the CCNA: It would be very useful for the tests of the VDS Assessment Center (chapter tests, final tests, etc.) to appear automatically in the course calendar as future events.

  8. netacad administration automation/exporting gradebooks for all courses

    As the netacad administrator for our campus, it would be useful to be able to download/export gradebooks and other content from all the courses my instructors teach across all our programs. We have many adjuncts and other instructors who are not experts in using netacad but we need that data for our year end reports to report to our administration

    We have a lot of different classes running every semester.
    It would be useful to be able to automate this export for date ranges (for example)

  9. View user activity

    It would be extremely helpful if you could add to the activity report the ability to view the users that view a particular object, not just how many users viewed an object.

    Also, I would like the ability to view user login data (dates/times users logged in during the course / length of login sessions / etc.)

    I have a requirement to show student participation regularly it would easy on us to be able to download a report that showed how active each student was over the course of a week / month / course.

    Allow the students to highlight items on the pages so that the student can use this for better studying.

  11. The Bookmark Tab

    The book Mark tab on the course is based on cookies! When i student book marks a page in class it will not show when the student logs in to
    NETACAD at home. This would be a great thing to fix. So that when they bookmark a page it stays no matter where the student logs in at.

  13. Create a student self-unenrol link / option on all courses and opt-out on NetAcad emails

    over a number of years we have been using some of the scalable features within netacad, using the gradebooks for mass communication with students and the self-enrol for large scale outreach and engagement - all excellent positives.

    However, less than 0.1% of students once they join feel that they have rights under data protection legislation (such as GDPR) which we must observe - with this in mind, we would like the addition of these two features.

    1. Student self-unenrol - where it will message the instructors and course-facilitators when this occurs (to help them catch any other potential issues).

  15. digest with outstanding tasks in a course at a certain point

    Is there any option to get a digest/summary with the outstanding tasks to be graded?
    I mean, something like this feature in Moodle, but applied to netacad:

  17. Course notifications daily

    Regarding the course notifications (messages and so on), that by default are sent inmediatly by email, I suggest the typicals options: inmediate, daily or weekly.

  18. Calendar events

    Make the course events (assignments, exams, PT labs, etc) available in the drop-down menu of the calendar, or by drag-and-drop like in the legacy site

  19. Module Exams Do Not Show on Calendar

    When Module Exams (Modules 1-3, Module 4-7, etc.) are scheduled they should show up in the course calendar. Currently they do not. I have been telling students to keep an eye on the calendar due dates but it exams don't show there, how can they know to do them.

  20. Dark background and foreground both in chapters and the site it self

    It is increasingly common for people to prefer black backgrounds and clear letters, since it doesn't hurt the eyes so much.
