Enahnced Color-Codes for Gradebook
Currently, grades in the Gradebook are color-coded to indicate whether the LAST attempt was on time or late.
I propose a more granular color scheme conveying more student performance data, similar to a red/green/amber scheme.
No color enhancement means the indicated grade was achieved prior to the Due Date.
AMBER enhancement indicates the initial attempt was made before the Due Date, but one or more subsequent attempts were made after the Due Date. (Many instructors use Chapter Assessments for formative learning purposes, and allow retakes.) The current scheme does not preserve whether the initial attempt was made before the Due Date.
RED enhancement indicates INITIAL ATTEMPT was late, after the Due Date.

I forgot to mention that my suggestion applies to quizzes (ungraded quizzes & graded quizzes)
