Set time duration for Batch Assignment settings
It is not possible to set the time duration for Batch exam assessments, i.e. the time allowed to sit the exam.
Two previous Ideas have requested this, but I believe have been misunderstood to mean the time limit in which to start the exam.
I want to change my exam duration to give a time limit of 45 minutes to complete a chapter test - 1 hour is too long!
Thanks,
Will
Hi,
I’m closing this to give your votes back, since this is now available in your Activation Profile. Thanks again for your patience.

Hi again, Will.
After further checking, you are asking for the Exam Duration—the amount of time allowed to take the exam once the student presses start. Currently, you can change the duration for a single exam, but not for multiple exams simultaneously.
I am putting your idea Under Review and hopefully this change will be implemented soon. I apologize for all of the confusion.
Best,
Kimberly

Hi Will,
I just tried duplicating this and changed my Activation Profile to 45 minutes and Batch activated a couple of assessments. When I did this, my 45 minute limit showed on the Advanced Activation. Please let me know if this what you were looking for.
Thank you!
Kimberly

Hi Will,
This is available under the Advanced Activation. When in the Advanced Activation settings, there is a Duration column next to the Forms/Language, the duration can be set in 15 minute intervals, using the drop down. Please let me know if this is what you are referring to.
Thank you!

Will Dennis commented Thanks, Kimberly, currently I am setting exams for two students with different finish dates, for all chapters for 45 minutes duration = many many clicks! Best regards,
 Will

Will Dennis commented I am referring here to the Activation Tool for batch setting of exams. Here if you set multiple chapter exams you are unable to change the time from 1 hour to (e.g.) 45 minutes. It is also not possible to set up a 45-minute exam duration in your Activation Profile, where ideally it would be set. I hope this is clearer.
 Will.

Telethia Willis commented Will, this can be done if you select Create Advanced Activations. You can set the time there.
