Incomplete assessment
I can not reactivate an incomplete assessment because the assessment still active.
I can not deactivate the assessment for the student because the have an incomplete assessment.
I can find no way to solve this with out having tech support di it
FRUSTRATING. Why doesn't Cisco just auto submit incomplete assessments. Current system is very frustrating and a major waste of time.
Hi Tom and others,
You should have the option to Re-enable an assessment through the Manage Activations Tab. Click on the Assignment link for the specific exam. Select Manage Activations. Go to row for that Student and click the checkbox in the Re-enable Incomplete Assessments column. Then press submit. If this does not work, then it may be a database issue just for that student or that specific exam at that time and will require the HelpDesk. But for normal reenablement, this solution works.
Thank you,
Kimberly

This won't work as Kimberly K suggested if the activation window is expired - even if the activation was done without selecting "Instructor must approve incomplete..."
Here's what you do ...
1. Go into the Assessment Center, and then click on "View All Attempts".
2. Select the relevant exam name, and click Submit to view all of the attempts for that particular assessment.
3. Next to your student's name there will be a "Re-enabling Needed" link, click on that.
4. From here, you can choose a few options, one of which is to "Disregard Incomplete Attempt" ... check that box and click "Submit" to start with a "clean slate". BTW, you may be able to allow the student to continue where they left off using another option. I haven't tried it myself.IMHO, this is a poor and non-intuitive design that can only have been done by someone who doesn't use NetSpace to teach courses (just sayin' ...).
Good luck!

when I'd be doing the exam, suddenly I saw: "Instructor must re-enable." How do I fix this?

I have the same issue. The student is presented with, "Instructor must re-enable exam", but when I go to Manage Activations, the student checkbox is inactive (non clickable).
Most frustrating. -
